Briefly, "TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - An appeals court Tuesday lifted a stay which blocked a brain-damaged woman's husband's fight with Gov. Jeb Bush over a new law that restored her feeding tube. The ruling by the 2nd District Court of Appeal in Lakeland is a victory for Michael Schiavo, who has fought his in-laws in court for years for the right to remove the tube, saying his wife, Terri, would not want to be kept alive artificially.

Michael Schiavo's attorney, George Felos, asked the appellate panel Monday to let his constitutional challenge to the new law move forward while Bush takes issue with failing to be served with a formal notice of the lawsuit and in Tallahassee.

The three-judge appellate panel agreed, and also denied a motion filed Friday by Bush's attorneys asking that all proceedings in the case be halted.

"It's very bad news for Terri and good news for the voices of death," said Pat Anderson, an attorney for Bob and Mary Schindler, the parents of Terri Schiavo."

The full story can be found here.

Only thing I can figure is that the liberal RATs (which is obviously what the "R" after the names of these judges stand for) hate Jeb as much as they hate his brother.

Ya know what liberty? Greer is a repub, as is mccabe, and on and on.

Baird be nimble, Greer be quick,
Kill the halt, the lame, the sick.
Kill the aged, kill the blind,
Kill anyone -- hey, they won't mind.
Kill the Christians, kill the Jews,
If they can't speak, it's what they'd choose.
They've no need of earthly things:
Kill their cats and steal their rings.
-- T'wit #48

I read that earlier and it has been on my mind ever since. Read it and weep. It wonderfully expresses a very sad truth -- thank your muse for me! How about sending it to the St. Pete Times or Tampa Tribune? I do hope many people get to see that. Sad regards. -- cynic#456,789

Hi, RJJ! Hope you are well. See if this doesn't stick in your head today -- sad to say, the words seem to be true. Terri has been handed another blow by the 2nd DCA; they just won't let her be.

Anyone on Vigil is free to use my little verses on a poster and wave it in front of TV cameras :-) :-)

Haven't done one yet on Bloody Lips Felos. He should be the next Lizzie Borden, so people never forget his evil.

Yes, I realize that they "are" Republicans, which is why I made the point of saying that the (R) after their names stands for "RAT" in their case. Seems their agenda is the same.

Thank you. If Freepers agree that this verse has some bite, then let's get it posted all over the Internet and sent out in e-mail.

I have been voting Republican for over 30 years. Sometimes the Republican Party asks "too much," and these FL judges and officials of "justice" are more than the "breaking point" for me.

Did a doctor recently diagnose Terri as cerebral palsey victim?

No. She is LIKE a CP victim.

The complete H&C interview is transcripted by FL_Engineer here.

"This is the challenge by the Schindlers concerning guardianship, right? Will that be moot if Terri's law is ruled unconstitional?"

The feeding tube removal order is still in effect, but under an indefinite stay due to Terri's Law being passed. Because Grinch decided that Terri expressed a wish to not be kept alive 'on tubes' the order/ruling would still be in effect even if MS is removed as guardian.

Possibly, a new guardian could ask the court to hear additional evidence that would substantionally affect the Court's ruling that Terri would wish to have her feeding tube removed.

Although Greer's Oct. 15 ruling was final, it's my guess that if cause to have MS removed is found, that would call into question the integrity of the Court's earlier rulings in light of the 'new' evidence. (conflict of interest, abuse, neglect etc.)

I am guessing that if MS is removed as guardian for conflict of interest, at the very least his earlier testimony could be called into question.

I think the Schindlers can therefore pursue the guardianship petition until its been decided one way or the other, before the tube can be removed again IF Terri's Law is found to be unconstitutional.

To not decide the question of MS's guardianship prior to removal of the tube would leave unanswered questions about the fitness of MS to offer credible testimony in Terri's best interests. For the Court to make a mistake by failing to resolve this issue prior to her death would be an irreversible error.

My take on all these lawsuits is they all must be resolved before removing the feeding tube.

I think Bush is well-prepared and will prevail, though. Keep emailing and praying for justice in the meantime. :)

Oh, it does, it does -- it's been biting me all morning. It is the truth encapsulated in a memorable way. Do pass it on to the fine folks at terrisfight.

As your "baby" goes out into the world -- I'd suggest attaching at least your FR name to it. You don't want to lose it. Others here can no doubt refine that thought.

What a sad day this is . . .

He doesn't want to get married; he said they're happy with things the way they are.

Mikey may be happy with things the way they are with Jodi, but remember, it was reeported that Jodi is a "devout Catholic," and wants to get married!

Gee, if this is true, and Jodi hears that Mikey is happy the way things are with her and doesn't want to get married, will he then turn on her, or she on him?

When Terri's Law is struck down by the FL Democrat Supreme Court, the potential change in guardianship will again be moot, and George W. Greer can again set a date for withdrawal of the feeding tube. These judicial liberals are just waiting to play out the clock; it's all rigged! No one ever really knew how committed the FL leadership class is to euthanasia until Terri's case alerted us.

It sounds like "prolife" Charles Crist is also supportive of euthanasia, for he is doing nothing thus far to help Terri.

I'm not saying you're wrong and I know your heart's in the right place, but it has struck me on these threads that you are the eternal pessimist. Most of us can see how bad it looks, but we have to remember that it is a spiritual battle and we are on the right side of it, so no matter what the outcome, we have to believe that God is in control and that what Satan has meant for evil, God means for good. God uses the things that are weak in this world to confound the strong. We have to keep faith.
"You {need} not fight in this {battle;} station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the LORD on your behalf... Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out to face them, for the LORD is with you." (2 Chron. 20:17)

Right, they're stacking the cards against him.
I'm wondering how long the disabilities investigations have to act. Hopefully MS won't have any influence with them.
I'm also wondering if Felos wouldn't like this finalized because of them.
He's in a hurry for some reason.
