A search warrant has been executed at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch.

It is being reported that this warrant has something to do with Jackson's relationships with children.

You won't be surprised, if you think about it. What better cover than legitimate people? Pedaphiles usually single out one particular child for their current affections, they don't molest every single child they come into contact with. Michael hasn't. Alot of children have stayed with him, to whet his appetite, with no consumation. Or, so I've heard, and I do believe some of those kids and their parents who swear nothing happened, sexually.

Not necessarily. I do agree with you about MJ being a mentally disturbed individual. But I also believe that he committed the acts as well.

You know for sure that this group of people take their children to michael's house? Do you know these people? PtA Moms? Doctors? I am surprised at that.

For a fact. I just spoke with the Bishop's wife about an hour ago and she was telling me about a birthday party she recently attended with a LDS mom who is very close to Michael. My family doctor used to go out there all the time with his wife and children but MJ was too emotionally needy so my Doctor has cooled the friendship. One of my son's best friend's father is a world famous vet and he frequently took his boys out to Neverland on housecalls.

This is the Santa Ynez Valley. There are so many rich, talented, respected people who live here. The ones I know think Michael is quirky, but surely he could never hurt a child! He loves children!

I have tried to convince them otherwise but they just think I am a cynic.

Understanding that "Law and Order" and "LA Law" are simply television, but they actually had eps that covered this very thing...

You have to ask what parent would allow their children to go into such a sitation...

I think MJ has the greater problem if guilty but what does one do with a parent that is so negligient?...

I think what will be interesting to see is if his siblings, who have many children, allow their children to spend time with him....

amazing. After readiing the depo of the kid whose parents settled the suit, it does appear michael takes his time in seducing a child,,it took months for him to get sexual with this kid and by that time the mother probably thought he was harmless. It is passing strange to me that anyone on this earth could see michael as a person one wanted around one's child. There is surely enough smoke here to not want one's kids to be anywhere around him.

My sister is very liberal, and lives in Carpinteria, very near Santa Barbara. She is a perfect example of how liberals will go to great lengths to explain, rationalize, and forgive all sorts of deviant and/or evil behavior. My grandfather was a genuine sociopath, in the mold of the Unabomber -- only he targeted his own family (including me and my sister). Up until his death at age 90 just a few years ago, she made me feel like a heartless bastard for my hardline stance on the man. Conservatives call a spade a spade. Liberals call a spade anything BUT a spade.

I've no doubt she'd come up with some New Age Dr. Phil/Oprah/Deepak Chopra explanation for Michael Jackson's behavior, putting the focus on feeling sorry for him, and not those he has victimized. We don't talk much. Gee, I wonder why...

I completely agree, but I must admit to being star struck when he stopped by our house on the 4th of July. It doesn't mean I would let him babysit my children, but I did forget he was a sick piece of human debris for a moment. My mother was visitting, and we had friends over, and it was so exciting to have Michael Jackson speak to my husband! Right in the driveway!

And the approach he uses is to present himself as this lonely misunderstood man. The Mormons have taken him in, just like the would any lonely sad person.

Besides, he takes entire groups shopping at Toys Are Us and buys them any and everything they want. He has an amusement park for them to play in. He has a full staff catering to their every wish. This is pretty exciting stuff.
