"...Prosecutor Rick Distaso said he intends tomorrow to call Modesto police Detective Jon Buehler to the stand. Buehler served as handler to Amber Frey, Peterson’s girlfriend when his wife disappeared.

Frey has said she did not know Peterson was married when they met Nov. 20. She has cooperated with authorities since Dec. 30, including taping her phone conversations with the defendant.

“It wouldn’t surprise me if he would testify to some of their communications,” said Gloria Allred, Frey’s attorney.

California law regarding preliminary hearings allows detectives to relay their conversations with key witnesses, sparing them from testifying. The witnesses must appear at trial, however.

Geragos reserved the right to call Frey as a witness for the defense at the ongoing hearing. Geragos said he will decide after hearing what Buehler has to say." (snip)

According to discussion on these threads last week, Scaught stated in one of his interviews that after breakfast of cereal, he and Laci watched the Martha Stewart Show on TV on Dec 24th. When asked what the subject was, he replied making meringue. The correct date for the airing that show was reveal as occurring on the 23rd.

I would suggest that he was, instead, watching How to Cook Your Own Goose. :)

Michael Peterson got into another fight in jail. Looks like he can't hold his own too well, unless he's beating up women.

Laura Ingle said this morning on KFI that she heard it from an inside source that (some of?) the Amber tapes would be played in court today, which may cause Geragos to call Amber to the stand in order to discredit her.
