Israel's refusal to do ANYTHING in Israel fosters these attacks around the world. You are so very good at blaming the victim, aren't you? Israel's "doing nothing" is now to the point where former heads of the Shin Bet are questioning whether it is too harsh. (No, I don't think they are right, BTW.) Your usual slander against the Israeli government will not be ignored.

Why not a repeat performance of your Jew hate posts?
It was about a year ago when you had asserted that the evil Turks and Jews had banded together to murder innocent Christians.
I know very well that you are an anti-Semite, even if the AM doesn't realize it.

Why Kuwait? New Osama Bin Laden Audiotapes Aired - "Possible Ramadan Attack Date" Set
18 October 2003-- Two new audiotapes reportedly of Osama Bin Laden delivering a call to all Muslims within all countries to wage attacks against the US and all of the coalition forces who assisted in the military operations in Iraq were broadcast on al Jazeera Saturday. In addition to the US, other countries that were specifically mentioned were Britain, Spain, Poland and Japan. The main overseas target, however, might be KUWAIT for its continuing role of assistance to the US.
Additional monitoring of jihad web sites following the release of the audio and text of the new tapes found numerous references to the new audiotapes, some of which suggest that a "specific date for attack against (or within) the United States" has been confirmed. A sampling of some of these messages, courtesy of Northeast Intelligence Network analyst Jennifer Johnston are below. The reader should be advised, however, that the translation from these Arabic messages to English is not fully complete. TEXT of Audio HERE.
MESSAGE INTERCEPTS from bin Laden's statement found on jihad sites HERE

Fox News says it has all the earmarks of an Al Qaeda attack. 400 people inside the Neve Shalom synagogue. Showing people with bloodied faces being helped away.

The first rule of problem solving is identifying the problem. I wonder what religious body the perpetrators belonged to this time, and just about every time there is an outrageous act of terror; and I wonder even more why their people and establishments are not attacked in the sort of tribal blitzkreig islam has earned for itself?
To: a_Turk
Yes, yes...we know all that. But, certainly, you admit that there is a fair amount of ambivalence, at minimum, among the populace about diving into the War on Terror.
Polls that I have read had huge majorities in Turkey opposed to putting troops into Iraq.
I know the Turkish politicians are largely with us; it's the people I'm not so sure about.

"The first rule of problem solving is identifying the problem" I think the first rule is admitting there is a problem.
Yes. Then defining the problem and creating a solution. Then the hard part -- implementing the solution. I haven't seen a logic chart on this yet. I perceive it's causing the logicians nightmares. Too many 'decision' blocks, too many variables popping up. Look for a quick fix and sledge-hammer programming. Many 'appeasing' sub-routines will be will be sliced, I'm sure.

LOL! Do I whiff a tinge of arrogance?
We're terror hardened after eons of this. Plus it's no easy task to trust a nation, your nation, which itself exhibited incredible ambivelance during our DECADES of terror attacks ranging from embassy attacks to suicide bombings..
Not only did you exhibit ambivelance, but your nation failed to curb fundraisers and other organizational activity on your soil by such terror groups. And to top it all off, your representatives in congress blocked weapons and associated material sales to our military during said time.
And were we ever amused when Murad Topalian, an Armenian terrorist in Cleveland who was complicit in bomb attacks on the Turkish consulate in NYC during the early eighties was busted during the late nineties with weapons and explosives in storage, and was given a sweetheart sentence of 2.5 years by your justice system.
Hope that helps..

Evil perversion of terrorism Evil perversion of man! Terrorism IS the perversion. It is simple to murder innocents. This doesn't take courage... to walk up to a child and pull a trigger. Or drive a red Fiat in front of a synagogue and set a timer. Cockroach. Courage is the ability to look upon your dead and wounded and maintain your judgment... and your control. This is what separates Men from cockroaches.
Is it clear now what we have created in surrendering discrimination to tolerance without judgment? Civilization depends on judgment. Judgment is enforced by wraith. Wraith is the directed by the rational mind to erradicate values that are antithetical to existence... ie. to kill cockroaches.
The rage is with us now... the rage that feeds wraith. Christians, Hebrews and other rational Men share it. Muslims best acknowledge this truth. Because the cockroaches will be erradicated. And one best strive not to take on the appearance of such vermin.

No, not arrogance. I'm just trying to make a realistic assessment of the situation. All is not all rosy and nice, as you point out. I'm afraid you mistake me for a gung-ho warrior guy, which I am not. I don't blame the Turks for their ambivalence to are War on Terror, such as it is; I only question they see clearly the problems with radical Islamism and anti-Israeli (NOTE: I'm
not talking here about anti-Semitism) sentiment.
Essentially, I am talking about the same thing that is going on in much of Europe. I think this bombing may be a message to all Europe, frankly. Isn't Istanbul on the European side of Turkey?

What has to happen here is that Turkey, the US, and Israel must work as one to fight terror, because we three are at the receiving end of it.. But all three are doing their own thing, and that's not going to work..

So what? What shall we do with Turkey? Shall we ask Al Qaida to send more bombs?
Countries and the people are not the problem by itself. But rahter some governing authorities who are in search of a strange "power" are the problem. They terrorize the people and the others react. This is the ungoing story of the terrorism; either by independent secret organizations or state owned organizations... One thing is common. They are all profit-organizations, strictly commercial.
