I'm sure not. They probably would try and say she should have been "put out of her misery" early on and spared herself the later grief of her losses, not to mention the money that would have been saved. They would see her as a "useless eater" for 30 years.

This story brought tears to my eyes sweetliberty. What a precious and loyal husband. I would want to do the same for my dear hubby. We will celebrate 45 years of marriage in February.What a stark contrast to the evil MS !!!

It is probably the widest exposure that some of the video clips of Terri have gotten, and there was no demon of death trying to refute everything that was said. I thought overall it was positive.

I felt that the Oprah show was over all positive also. Especially good was the video of her father interaction with her. Can anyone imagine after seeing that , a husband could possible ask for her death???

I'm so tired of this Kobe/Peterson coverage - THESE ARE ONLY THE PRELIMINARY HEARINGS. What on earth are they going to do when it is the "real deal?"



hopefully by that time maybe kobe's accuser will take a settlement out of court and Terri will be under guardianship of parents and receiving therapy so won't care if nother but peterson on.........praying for some big miracles here

Sadly, last month Terri Schiavo's prayer guestbook was desecrated with a hacker who put in porn and obscene references to Terri. Over 215 pages of prayers and well wishings from hundreds of loving individuals were destroyed. They would have been such a comfort to her family.

These are the same kind of losers that would torch a church.

I would suggest these Terri guestbook sites do regular backups to offline media. Even a 215 page guestbook would, I think, fit on a 3.5 inch diskette. More if the file was zipped, because it's all English text.

Nobody has said, but my sense is that perhaps she could be spoon fed, but that it is probably a tedious process.

Or syringe fed? Something like a pastry decoration syringe would probably work nicely and it isn't "medical equipment."

Point of information: Oprah billed this program as "Should Terri Schiavo die?" - a 'leading' question that made me shiver!

Well to any halfway normal person it ought to point up the wicked, hellish aspect of the thrust to get her to die. Oprah didn't bill it with the doublespeak of "should Terri Schiavo be permitted to die."

She would have to be able to swallow. Feeding tubes are probably a lot more efficient and less time consuming for staff which translates into dollars and sense.

It was my understanding that the order only gave Michael permission to have the feeding tube removed, not demanded that he do so. Felos is a liar.

I believe this to be true, sw. That's why when I hear people say 'the Court ordered it' I am ready to explode. The Court *gave permission* to the Guardian (NGFBHINO) if said Guardian chose to do it.

If memory serves, this investigation has been ongoing for about a month .. seems the Agency made one announcement that it was investigating, and that it would make no further mention thereafter. The article says that Terri's medical records have already been given to the Agency.

Pegita, I have been searching through the thread to find any new information concerning this agency investigation. What is the post # if any that you are referring to? BTW, I want to thank you for surrounding Terri's family and Terri in prayer.
