At Blogs for Bush.com today -- the Dean supporters have turned out to attack Bush supporters because some of us have taken exception to the recent Tedd Rall commentary (see below) and are fighting back. Here is an example of several of the Dean supporters followed by the comments that set them off and then Rall's commentary:
How are things here a Treason Central today?
Planning the destruction of this great nation through four more years of treason in the White House?
Thank God for Democracy! We can correct our horrible mistake of 2000.

Unlike you wingnuts who loathed Clinton for purely personal reasons, those of us who despise the shrub do so for his ruinous policies. We don't like his lies about things that matter - such as squandering American lives in an ill-concieved, and as yet unjustified war. We are highly suspicious of his perpetual demand for secrecy in what was once an open society.
I do not hate the shrub for who he is, I hate him for what he does. Oh...I forgot, it's unamerican to require personal responsibilty and honesty from the rabid right.

The Ted Rall Quotient: Americans Who Want The United States to Fail
The blogosphere has been buzzing following revelations that much on the political Left isn't just a group arguing 'give peace a chance' and simply anti-war. There are a great number of these people who take great joy in not only America's failures but celebrate the death of American service men and women. These legions seem to be the exact vein of the American public represented by the despicable writings of Ted Rall. This possibly chemically imbalanced individual has been discussed by the likes of Instapundit and Andrew Sullivan:
After 9/11, I was roundly criticized for daring to suggest that there were some people in America who wanted the terrorists to win. But if you read Ted Rall and others, there can be no mistake. There is a virulent strain of anti-Americanism in this country. Some, like Rall, are now urging the murder of American troops in defense of Islamist terrorists and the acolytes of one of the most brutal dictators in history.
Ann Coulter couldn't invent something this depraved. That's where parts of the left have now come to reside. It's as sad as it is sickening. Well, that got some of us thinking, which campaigns are gaining the membership of those who rejoice in the death of Americans -- we'll call it "The Ted Rall Quotient." If you do a quick search in all the Democrat candidates' blogs for Rall's name, either for linkage or for fawning praise on the part of commenters, you can get a feel for the Ted Rall quotient. There were zero mentions of Rall on blogs for Clark, Kerry and Edwards or sites associated with Lieberman. Not even Kucinich's commenters (denniskucinich.us) wanted to touch the guy.
However, there were nearly a dozen commenters on Howard Dean's Blog for America site and other Dean sites linking to Rall's work and insupport of his 'radical' agenda. Quite telling.
This is the article that is now being defended by Dean people on Blogs for Bush defending Rall and his article and attacking Bush supporters:
WHY WE FIGHT

By UNIVERSAL PRESS SYNDICATE/TED RALL
NEW YORK--Dear Recruit:
Thank you for joining the Iraqi resistance forces. You have been issued an AK-47 rifle, rocket-propelled grenade launcher and an address where you can pick up supplies of bombs and remote-controlled mines. Please let your cell leader know if you require additional materiel for use against the Americans.
You are joining a broad and diverse coalition dedicated to one principle: Iraq for Iraqis. Our leaders include generals of President Saddam Hussein (news - web sites)'s secular government as well as fundamentalist Islamists. We are Sunni and Shia, Iraqi and foreign, Arab and Kurdish. Though we differ on what kind of future our country should have after liberation and many of us suffered under Saddam, we are fighting side by side because there is no dignity under the brutal and oppressive jackboot of the U.S. Coalition Provisional Authority or their Vichyite lapdogs on the Governing Council, headed by embezzler Ahmed Chalabi.
Because we destroyed our weapons of mass destruction, we were unable to defend ourselves against the American invasion. This was their plan all along. Now our only option is guerilla warfare: we must kill as many Americans as possible at a minimum risk to ourselves. As the Afghan resistance to the Soviets and the Americans' own revolution against our former colonial masters the British have proven, it will only be a matter of time before the U.S. occupation forces become demoralized. As casualties and expenditures rise, the costs will outweigh the economic and political benefits of occupation. Soon the American public will note that the anticipated five-year price tag of $500 billion, with a probable loss of some 4,000 lives and 10,000 wounded, is not a reasonable price to pay to get our 2.5 million barrels of oil flowing to the West each month. This net increase, of just 0.23 percent of total OPEC (news - web sites) production, will not reduce U.S. gasoline prices. At an average of 35 attacks each day, an hour does not pass without an American soldier coming under fire somewhere in Iraq. Ultimately the American public will pressure their leaders to withdraw their harried troops from our country.
It is inevitable. Our goal is to make that day come sooner rather than later.

It is beginning to look like the Move-on organization is nothing more than an extension of the Dean campaign -- he just happens to be the front runner so they are jumping on his bandwagon along with Soros millions to buy ads against Bush. That has caused some of the nastiest people to come out of the woodwork to defend Dean. We need your help -- please help us fight back and defend President Bush at every opportunity.

If this Imus character's opin counts for anything to those who listen to him then Dean hasn't an ice cube's chance in hell.
Well, then again.
...he doesn't anyway. {g}
Amen !
Worst. Band. EVER.
Go rent "Blackhawk Down", imbecile. It's a movie, so you won't be confused by words on a page or anything complicated like that.
We are highly suspicious of his perpetual demand for secrecy in what was once an open society.
Just like you cared about the FBI files?
Rall is a disgusting oxygen thief. He understands the way the enemy thinks because he is our enemy.
