The filing deadline for the New Hampshire primary is Nov. 21, so time is running out for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York to run for president unless she can do so without New Hampshire. More on that scenario next month. But while we wait, consider the plans for the Iowa Democratic Party's Jefferson Jackson dinner in Des Moines Nov. 15. According to the tentative agenda, Clinton will speak eight times. She will give introductory remarks and then separately introduce each of the Democratic presidential candidates as they come forward to give speeches.
And each entry on the agenda for her participation bears a phrase that must make the real candidates cringe with applause-envy: "Sen. Clinton takes the stage."

God help us all if the awful woman actually becomes president of The United States. She's a disaster waiting to happen.

Hillary won't run for President. That would mean following the rules. The plan is for some type of Emergency, where the public drafts her into taking the office of President.

Hillary is not going to run in '04. She will in 2008, however. You know what would be neat, though, (I would cite where I heard this)if Cheney was dropped as Bush's VP and Condi Rice was picked up and groomed for a run at the presidency in '08 against Hitlary. I know, I know, no chance in hell of that happening, but it would be interesting lol.-ANdY

Ya, that didn't make sense. I can't remember where I heard that, otherwise I would give them credit.

don't worry she will not enter any primaries. she can not stand all of the questions she would be asked. if she wants to run she will wait and be drafted.

As much as I admire Condi Rice's work as National Security Director, I could never support a pro-abortion candidate for President. And pro-abortion she is.

She won't run in any of the primaries. She'll go to the Convention, distribute copies of her FBI files to the candidates, and make them offers they can't refuse for their delegates.
What, Hillary campaign? She managed to win the Senate race in New York without ever agreeing to a debate, a genuine interview, or a genuine public appearance.
So, why should she bother putting herself through all that nonsense, kissing babies and rubbing shoulders with the masses?

Well, being a former "Goldwater Girl," maybe she thinks she's going to pull a Henry Cabot Lodge, and win on write-ins in New Hampshire.
I've always believed that Hillary thinks she deserves to be President, and that means being handed the job, with as little campaigning as possible. I'm sure she thinks having to actually compete in a year long campaign for a job she's entitled to is beneath her. Seriously...I think she believes this.

She wouldn't kiss my baby. That's for sure. Besides, I wouldn't be there so I guess it's a moot point. :)

Congressional Quarterly is way behind the information curve. As I noted in my column, posted here on FR, Hillary! can wait until late March to jump in and steal the nomination from Howard Dean.
One would think that CQ would get this story right, since elections, deadlines, and processes are their bread and butter. But the author of this article was incapable of thinking outside the box.
I don't expect Hillary! to jump in. And if she does jump in and steal the nomination, she will lose. Still, a correct reading of the election law situation means that Hillary!'s window for harm to the Republic will not close on 21 November, as this article suggests. Six weeks before the national election, poor Mr.Dean/gephardt and running mate are shot and killed riding in a car in Dallas after crashing in an airplane in Minn/Missouri but not before walking thru a Calif. hotel kitchen on the way to Chicago and lets win there.
Hillary is begged to enter the race
Ofcourse with the campaign finance laws no one can bad mouth her
