I'm listening to Sean Hannity here. He just played a clip where Macgruder called Condi Rice a murderer. IMHO, this is crossing the line. He is a radical. As for me, I'm going to try to get my local paper to pull his cartoon strip.

The leftist criticism of Reagan? He is stupid. Of Bush? He is stupid. Of Thomas? He is stupid. Of Tripp? She is ugly. Of Katherine Harris? She is ugly.

My letter to the editor:
Recently, cartoonist Aaron McGruder (the Boondocks) stated in a forum he participated in with Julian Bond that he thought National Security Advisor Condoleeza Rice was a murderer because of the Iraqi invasion. This is unacceptable rhetoric. If not for Operation Iraqi Freedom, millions more would fill the graves built for those killed by the brutal Hussein regime.
In my opinion, the Statesman should do the honorable thing and pull the Boondocks.

Thank goodness our local newspaper (San Diego Union-Tribune) doesn't carry this guy's strip. That's about the only good thing it has going for it.
...However, I must say that the best thing to suggest to those publications that do carry McGruder's "comic" strip is to move it where it properly belongs- on the OPINION/EDITORIAL page, alongside Garry Trudeau's 'Doonsbury' political strip. And definitely do NOT read it.

Regardless of where editors choose to put Boondocks (editorial page or comics page), the editors need to consider if the comments that McGruder made stepped over the line. Conservative voices have been silenced for less. Fire him altogether.

I know, he's vile. He also lives by the rule that nothing printed about him matters as long as his name is spelled correctly.
