I loved Art Carney. One of my favorite episodes of The honeymooners was where *Norton* is sleepwalking trying to find his long lost puppy and you see him walking around in his longjohns, a bell on his wrist and he's crying,
"Lu-Lu, Lu-Lu!" Maybe you had to see it but It was so sweet...
May he rest in peace.

Norton might not have been too bright, but he was a lot smarter than Ralph. At least Ed could "Core A Apple."

Remember the episode where Norton teaches Ralph golf? "You have to address the ball..." What a hoot.

One of my favorites was when Ralph had to clean behind the dresser, which was too heavy to move. Ed suggested taking out the dresser drawers, which makes sense. They put the filled drawers on top of the dresser and then moved the whole thing easily, and Ed took credit for a great idea.

A brilliant commedian. I had no idea that he had the Irish virus.
He could fit almost any role.
He was real Irish - American.

He was a great piano player too.
My favorite episode was when Ralph loses a music contest because he didn't know who wrote Swanee River, Ed's warmup tune.

The Internet Movie Database page on
Art Carney, listing filmography and TV appearances. What an act to follow.

I can just imagine him acting out the scenes.
His mannerisms we're unforgettable.
I can picture him warming up to play piano too, can't you?
These are great memories. Sort of like a wake, fitting for an Irishman. :) Trease
