What you can do: 1. Write letters to the editor of your local paper 2. Call in local talk radio 3. Email, call or fax letters of support to your Republican senators for standing up against democrat obstruction 4. Email, call or fax letters to your Democrat senators demanding the obstruction stop 5. Email, call, fax Sen. Frist letter of support for leading the fight 6. Attend the filibuster if you are in the area, gallery seating is open to the public! 7. Special events are being planned. Watch these threads for more details.

Is anyone listening to dippy Reid read his book on the Senate floor??? He is taking a break from Chapter 3 to explain why he has stopped the Senate. I thought he was supposed to be done by 6:00.

.....The objective is to get an up or a down vote.....

Unstated is how he plans to accomplish this objective.

Unless there have been several deaths he cannot get enough votes for cloture. Unless he has 51 votes, he can't get a parlimentary vote to have the up or down vote. Just a while back he indicated he didn't have the votes for the parlimentary manuver.

There must be some Senators with severly twisted arms.

Project 21 will be releasing a speech supporting the Majority and their efforts in the Senate either tomorrow or Wednesday (and I'll probably be quoted in the piece).

In addition, P21 Executive Director David Almasi & P21 National Advisory Board member Mychal Massie will be present at the scheduled 3AM press conference outside the Senate Chambers on Thursday morning.

Everyone's support by way of contacting their legislators is greatly appreciated, and I thank you in advance for your help.
