Why would Salon have acess to this? Oh wait, CBS probably typed it up for them and hand delivered it...

Here is something I noticed: Look at this imagery and tell me what you think.
A hot day. Outside the fence THREE HOMELESS GUYS lying on a blanket. Their signs read: "Homeless because of Ronald Reagan"; "Homeless Vet"; and "Will Work for Food".
A sequence of Images -
Hospital after hospital being boarded up. Signs saying "Closed"
A line of homeless people in front of a soup kitchen.
A family living in their car.
A former mental patient sitting in the rain, on the sidewalk, laughing, smiling, talking to the air, catching the rain in her hands, and drinking it.
These are ALL images that they flash to between scenes. This is a propoganda peice. Plain and simple.

President Bush better have the BEST ad people this time, because it is obvious that this movie was to be the premier of the Hollywood anti-Republican propoganda effort going into the 2004 elections.

I'm speachless....much worse than I thought.
Linda would probably like it, however. ;-]

Downloaded the entire 8 MB PDF file in under a minute here. The demand may have been a bit high this morning. Wait a minute, it still is morning, better get back to my coffee.

Even better: the scene after that has her on stage with a male actor at a roast of Reagan singing "Second-hand clothes" interspersed with scenes of homeless women going through clothes in a shopping cart on the street. Very vile stuff folks.

The scene, a college dorm, and a girl says "lookout everybody, Hitler has just been elected" Having gone to college in CA when reagan was governor, I suspect that this quote was probably true. You have to remember, back then, we only had newspapers and network news. There was no limbaugh, no talk radio, no fox news, no internet.

Salon has to do something to generate hits on their moribund site.

So when do we get a TV movie scene with Hillary channeling Elanor Roosevelt? We will get that movie when TV starts telling the truth. I would not hold my breath for this.

I do believe it is fact that she was pregnant before they got married.

It's still unfortunte that it will be aired on Showtime however After reading some of the posts here, I wish it had been shown on CBS. We could have gotten the entire CBS management team fired later.

Patti and Nancy, in Nancy's bedroom.
Nancy: So you want to marry this man... who grew up in a trailer park... and have children by him.
WOW!

Seems like it'd have been easier and less controvorsial if CBS had expressed itself by hiring someone to skywrite "We hate Ronald Reagan".
Then again, it'd have been honest to do so. Can't have that now, can they.

They are worried about legislation that would allow the broacasters to buy up as many outlets as possible. They need the President and the republicans on their side for this.
They need not have worried too much, after all McCain would always vote for Viacom.......he took campaign donations from them.

Then it alludes to the abortion!
this is talking about reversing Patti's tubes being tied but here is the main point of it:
Patti: You mean you want me to go through a major operation, and not tell him why?
Nancy: If you want your father to pay for it.
Patti: Mom, would you d that? Would you keep such a big secret from the man you were going to marry?
Nancy changes the subject.

Reagan was a big star when he married Nancy, wasn't he? She was a minor actress. This exchange would be NO sense on any planet.

Perhaps it's time for Moonves to meet Mark Levin of Landmark Legal Foundation!
It won't be a love story for sure!
