Here is something I noticed: Look at this imagery and tell me what you think.

A hot day. Outside the fence THREE HOMELESS GUYS lying on a blanket. Their signs read: "Homeless because of Ronald Reagan"; "Homeless Vet"; and "Will Work for Food".

A sequence of Images -

Hospital after hospital being boarded up. Signs saying "Closed"

A line of homeless people in front of a soup kitchen.

A family living in their car.

A former mental patient sitting in the rain, on the sidewalk, laughing, smiling, talking to the air, catching the rain in her hands, and drinking it.

These are ALL images that they flash to between scenes. This is a propoganda peice. Plain and simple.

President Bush better have the BEST ad people this time, because it is obvious that this movie was to be the premier of the Hollywood anti-Republican propoganda effort going into the 2004 elections.

Even better: the scene after that has her on stage with a male actor at a roast of Reagan singing "Second-hand clothes" interspersed with scenes of homeless women going through clothes in a shopping cart on the street. Very vile stuff folks.

Having gone to college in CA when reagan was governor, I suspect that this quote was probably true. You have to remember, back then, we only had newspapers and network news. There was no limbaugh, no talk radio, no fox news, no internet.
