Because they hate Nancy .. notice the part where they claim she was pregant and smokingIF Nancy was pregant and smoking, it was in the days before it was said to be harmful! They are counting on people not knowing that now to smear her!

This sounds like an unintended admission, to me.Oh my, very astute of you. It certainly does, and it is true too actually.

These are ALL images that they flash to between scenes. This is a propoganda peice. Plain and simple. OMG, this is making me furious! Propaganda is what the left does best.

The scene, a college dorm, and a girl says "lookout everybody, Hitler has just been elected" I don't recall anyone calling Reagan Hitler in those days, but maybe I didn't hang out with the right or should I say, wrong people? I know the college campus's erupted with those hippy freaks then, and Reagan took no crap off of them!

This from the Onion ? It's far too over the top to be true. If this plays exactly like this it would be cult classic along the lines of "Plan 9 from Outer Space".
LOL, and there are rules regarding posting stuff from the Onion.

Nancy did dress like a bag lady and do this song. It is in her book, and it was funny as heck.

Lefty Les Moonves was right, this certainly is biased against the Reagans, it's more-- a SLIMY hit piece.

So when do we get a TV movie scene with Hillary channeling Elanor Roosevelt? The left will now use this incident as a precedent to suppress any suggestion of evil about the Clintons. (Though of course the Reagan script is one big like, and Clinton evil and dastardly hubris is real.)
Seriously---with what we know as TRUE about Bill Clinton, it would be a helluva movie. Cigar-fetishist, drum-beating sinkmeister, pawing interns and offing those who had or had threatened to betray him. I wish conservatives could put together a 9 million dollar movie on that! Freepers could write all the scenes in just one FR thread.

From reading the script, I especially liked the "nice" little scene before this.
Mitchell's awaiting execution and his mother comes to plead for clemency - but Ronnie can't be bothered. He lies to his staff and tells them he has a meeting in LA.
But actually - he's off to Academy Awards! He dumps the whole thing on Meese. (Take that poor black mom.)and leaves.
She's later shown leaving Meese's office moaning "Why? Jesus, Why?".
However, to be fair and balanced the script does not cut to Ronnie yucking it up at the oscars.

Please, if anybody has Showtime, please CANCEL it My guess is that 40 to 60 percent of Showtime subscribers are liberals. That leaves the other 40 to 60 percent who could put the hurt on the cable channel by cancelling subscriptions.

Freepers could write all the scenes in just one FR thread. Don't ask me to run that one; I'd be at it for a month.

This is a real hit piece. The approvers of this script are beneath contempt. The writers should be blacklisted.

She did and they did. It was hilarious, and was a great way for her to deal with all the criticism.

I am on page 86 of the script. It is definitely a hit piece on Ronald, and most especially Nancy Reagan. It goes to great detail to portray them in a negative a light as possible.
In addition to the Reagan bashing, I am noticing odd little errors that show the lack of any sort of research. The Reagans as the first family, living in the White House, are guarded by "security guards", instead of the Secret Service. There is a scene in 1967 that has the Governor of California Ronald Reagan surrounded by Secret Service agents. The Secret Service has never been used to guard California's governors. Also, President Richard Nixon's resignation and Governor Reagan's last year of office in California is set in 1973, instead of 1974 as it really happened.

Reagans were married March 4, 1952, and Patti was born Oct 21 (or 22), 1952. That's a hair over 7 1/2 months... iffy.

I read 5 pages. It's much worse than the exerpts.
It is deliberately written with complete and total bias in order to promote an agenda.
These people rot.
