This thread serves as a place for posting all new general information and references, along with links following Terri's case, plus information on cable news and talk radio shows dealing with the issue, court cases and press releases. This is also the place to post contact information, prayers and general discussion.

If you have something that qualifies as BREAKING NEWS or FRONT PAGE NEWS, please post it on a separate thread in that category in order to give it maximum exposure and then post a link to the article/thread here so that it will be included in the next update of links. Also, if you post links to articles from original sources and there is also a thread on FR, please link to the FR thread. Many original links become corrupt over time and we want to be able to access the information at will.

There was a tremendous amount of information posted on the previous thread. For anyone who hasn't been following the daily threads, links to relevant posts and information from the previous thread are contained in the body of the present one. I have found that very helpful in trying to find something later. You people are doing a spectacular job of getting information out and also in helping to keep all of us updated here. What a great joint effort. This fight, to me, illustrates beautifully what Free Republic is about and what it means to be a FReeper. Way to go FRiends. Keep up the good work!

If the sister of Michael encouraged him to become a nurse, as she herself was, why would she stop being a nurse? I just think it's a bit odd (or did I misunderstand your previous post?).

I believe William and Clara Schiavo both died of starvation and dehydration. That's what Michael said on Larry King Live. He said he starved an ddehydrated both of his parents to death.

Ok, I'm sorry. I thought I had read that one of Michael's brothers admitted that the two had been fighting earlier that day, but I've been searching and can't find it. I was hoping to find that someone else in his family contradicted the story about the fight, but maybe I dreamed it (LOL, not really). Every account I can find so far has them saying how much in love they were. Right!

No, I was just curious as to your thinking. I mean, isn't it possible that she quit being a nurse to stay home and raise kids or something ordinary like that? I don't know.

Most nurses I know including myself will not give up their license unless they know without doubt they will not be returning to nursing. The licensing fee is nominal compared to doing over your nursing schooling and board taking or the hoops you would have to jump by letting the license go lapse. The relicensure will differ among the states.

Also I believe it was Michael's sister-in-law as he has no sisters.

I'm frustrated that I'm not very experienced at researching such things online. Something doesn't seem right there. It's intriguing. I have a hunch that investigating his status and activities immediately prior to getting the license would turn up something relevant and useful.

Part of the problem, you know, is that there are so many different stories being told by MS and Felos, one can't quite remember who said what, or when they said it! (i.e., MS allegedly only has 2 children, but we know it's four)

People like MS are good at manipulating women (and even men!). Believe me when I say they think they are telling the truth when they use terms like "teddy bear". If they see the "dark side" they ignore it or rationalize. He's probably pretty successful at only letting them see what he wants them to see.

My "death with dignity" will be that I will die naturally, of cancer that can't be cured, with people who love me saying goodbye to me emotionally, painfully, and faithfully, knowing we'll be together again soon. My "dignity" will be their love and their grief, and their memories of me throughout their lives, not my going "quietly" without pain or discomfort to them.
