This thread serves as a place for posting all new general information and references, along with links following Terri's case, plus information on cable news and talk radio shows dealing with the issue, court cases and press releases. This is also the place to post contact information, prayers and general discussion.

If you have something that qualifies as BREAKING NEWS or FRONT PAGE NEWS, please post it on a separate thread in that category in order to give it maximum exposure and then post a link to the article/thread here so that it will be included in the next update of links. Also, if you post links to articles from original sources and there is also a thread on FR, please link to the FR thread. Many original links become corrupt over time and we want to be able to access the information at will.

There was a tremendous amount of information posted on the previous thread. For anyone who hasn't been following the daily threads, links to relevant posts and information from the previous thread are contained in the body of the present one. I have found that very helpful in trying to find something later. You people are doing a spectacular job of getting information out and also in helping to keep all of us updated here. What a great joint effort. This fight, to me, illustrates beautifully what Free Republic is about and what it means to be a FReeper. Way to go FRiends. Keep up the good work!

There are new cases in California. Terri is the first challenge, not the last. I have a feeling that Arnold supporters and/or Laci Peterson supporters who learned of terrisfight.org realized the major grassroots effort undergone here in Florida.

Death by starvation-dehydration should not be legal period.

I don't think anyone as cunning/crooked as MS is, that he would allowed all those stocks, bonds, money market account, whatever else, be drained or sold just to pay Felos. I doubt seriously if "Jodi's house" was paid for in cash.

Sure, they had to sell some of it - dividends alone would not have paid for Felos. My hunch is that what's been taken has been reinvested "under another name."

Hospice started paying for the cops last week. There's only one now, as compared to four per night & day with dogs and one on a bicycle. We think Felos told Hospice that we were going to misbehave. But, we're Terri's Angels.

They do not say the money is "spent" but that it's "gone". Probably to a nice safe, offshore bank account. That's quite common for Florida.

A litttle side note: In the article (posted link at 1317 - I think), if you add up what the figures are there, the total comes to about $2,540,000.00 - a sizable chunk of change in anybodys book! And that is tax free.

But dLd$ wouldn't be FULFILLED if "it" couldn't constantly rail about how hopeless Terri allegedly is or how unworthy of continuing to be fed or how right FloriDUH (not fv, I mean the allwise snake courts) is to call for her cruel death. The kind of death it didn't even wish on John Wayne Gacy.

Beware! dLd$ reproduces Christian theology very well (to wit the stuff about Satan). Few concerted foes of Terri are versed in Christian theology at that level. I smell Cujo-rabid wolf in sheep's clothing.

Yes, the settlement money was on this order. You might try searching Terri's web site, Budge. There was a good, clean account there, which I think has been picked up here, too. Maybe somebody can repost it.

As I recall, Michael got his own settlement of something like $600,000 for loss of consortium. (Never mind that he went out and picked up some new consortiums.)

I also recall that a large percentage of the settlement was mysteriously spent in the first 18 months or so. That money was paid in trust for Terri's therapy, but it was effectively embezzled... and then (you can guess the next part) the records were sealed. Judge Greer has a LOT to answer for.

tyvm! It would be great if a lot of us FReep the book review. Felos has been hawking his book every chance he gets when he's being interviewed. It would be a good thing if he didn't make anymore money by exploiting his media opportunities while he tries to kill Terri.

That may have been the one I quoted parts to you somewhere...regarding blue chip stocks, Treasury bonds, etc.

Felos facts are LIES. It's ashame that he missed the Hale Bopp Comet. He's a death cultist with a Florida Bar license. I'm so glad that Jeb Bush is widening the investigation so we'll get actual facts on the table and evidence that will put the facts you are so proud of to shame. The 2nd DCA just affirmed Greer's decision. They didn't act on their own giving Greer a mandate. That's why Greer's being so careful right now. He could be in big trouble and he knows it. PUBLIC AWARENESS WAS A MAJOR SUCCESS in every aspect! There are new cases in California and they are going to challenge death protocols. Other people will live because Terri lives.
