This thread serves as a place for posting all new general information and references, along with links following Terri's case, plus information on cable news and talk radio shows dealing with the issue, court cases and press releases. This is also the place to post contact information, prayers and general discussion.

If you have something that qualifies as BREAKING NEWS or FRONT PAGE NEWS, please post it on a separate thread in that category in order to give it maximum exposure and then post a link to the article/thread here so that it will be included in the next update of links. Also, if you post links to articles from original sources and there is also a thread on FR, please link to the FR thread. Many original links become corrupt over time and we want to be able to access the information at will.

There was a tremendous amount of information posted on the previous thread. For anyone who hasn't been following the daily threads, links to relevant posts and information from the previous thread are contained in the body of the present one. I have found that very helpful in trying to find something later. You people are doing a spectacular job of getting information out and also in helping to keep all of us updated here. What a great joint effort. This fight, to me, illustrates beautifully what Free Republic is about and what it means to be a FReeper. Way to go FRiends. Keep up the good work!

If it hadn't been for your response I would've given up searching. Actually, I had, and then read your post, which gave me new hope to go looking again. Sometimes all we need is someone willing to affirm that our ideas make sense. Wish I could give that to Terri right now...but maybe as long as her family knows, it helps them keep going on.

I am sure the Schindler's are encouraged after such a lonely battle that others can now identify with them and can affirm them.

I searched for quite awhile with you tonight but came up empty..Good for you finding that.

BTW, I am going to have my own findings page on Wordpad and anything that hits me like Michael's brother affirming an argument the day Terri collapsed will get filed away for future reference if not posted to FreeRepublic.

I like kitties. Terri probably did too, and probably still would, if she could ever have contact with one. I hope she can be freed from the clutches of the Schiavo Triumvirate and can get some happiness, though if she does recover it would be sufficiently bad for a number of people that they might do anything possible to prevent it.

Indeed, I'd hardly put it past Michael or Felos to kill Terri outright, try to frame the other for the murder, and then pull a Jack Ruby to ensure things don't come out.

Jodie has had 2 last names. It's likely she was married and divorced. Perhaps she got some marital assets when she divorced.

Of course it IS just a joke. Most lawyers are fine people and professional in their bearing. I've watched a bit of that all my life. My grandfather, father, brother and son were/are all lawyers, and all sober and honorable men.

If you go back to post #47 on this thread, you can search for Jodi there and you'll see her having a deed and a mortgage with him that gets to be in her name only (08/05/1993). If you do a search for Scott Blough at the same link, you'll find that he has gone on to marry another woman and owns more property with her, starting in about 1994. So, yes, Jodi did have other assets once she came in to her relationship with MS.

I wonder if Michael knows this? I think it's clear to everyone here that the whole notion that Michael can't divorce Terri because Jodi wouldn't be able to marry him is absurd, but it's unclear with whom that notion is originating. But if Jodi would be ineligible for a Catholic Church wedding on the basis of her own past, why should anyone care about whether Michael is eligible?

Methinks Jodi and Felos are the ones pulling the strings; I have no idea whether they're in collusion, or just happen to have overlapping interests.

Lots of those posters are still around, just probably lurking. Some are still pretty active posters. Coincidentally, I think that thread was probably one of the first ones I read about Terri, which prompted me to stop lurking and to start getting involved in her fight. Ever since then, I basically only look for ways that might help Terri's case. Nothing else seems as worthwhile to me (with the exception of my own family, of course). God just put Terri's fight on my heart in a very special way, like He has for each of us. We are truly blessed to be working together for Terri's life!

Could be hatred, could be some wish to finish his 1990 attack on her, could be fear of discovery of that attack if there's an autopsy. A profit motive doesn't seem to make sense because the effort to kill her gets increased even as the potential inheritance dwindles.

Could it be pressure from the new woman in his life?

By 1995, Michael was in love with and living with another woman, whom he had been seeing for about two years. They would eventually have a child, even though Michael stayed legally married to Terri.

According to this article he would have been seeing Jodi in 1993...the year he collected the money and ordered a DNR order on Terri's charts. He took small steps towards Terri's death for a few years. Was it mounting pressure from Jodi that caused him to seek out Felos? They had been living together for a couple of years and most of the money was still there, but Terri just wouldn't die. When Felos entered the picture Michael's engagement was annouced, people started dying and the money soon disappeared. Love and money can be a deadly combination...
