Rockefeller Must Resign!

Okay, this is a vanity--my first and only.
That said, I want Rockefeller to resign, and I want to see Freeper opinions on this. I think the memo he claimed a staffer wrote is at LEAST a first cousin to treason, as Zell Miller said, and I am furious that the story isn't getting more traction.
This isn't just another example of business as usual in DC, this is a case of Democrats using intelligence vital to our war effort in Iraq as a tool to win an election against President Bush next year, no matter the cost in human lives!
The author of the memo should resign. Rockefeller, if he DIDN't write it, should disavow it, and SO SHOULD EVERY OTHER DEMOCRAT ON THE COMMITTEE, publicly!
We can't let the media carry the water on this one--they won't! We can't let the Senate carry the water on this one--they won't!
We the people have to insist that there is NO place for this kind of partisanship in this committee at this time--and Rockefeller must resign.

My first vanity. I used Fox News because on their front page they have an opinion poll about this memo, and 77 percent of respondents have opposed the tactics in this memo.

a vanity post is one thing, but calling your vanity post 'breaking news' is a bit of a stretch, no?

In an honorable society Rockefeller would follow the family tradition of death by falling on his mistress.
To: maeng
Right here, right now, call for Rockefeller's resignation.

Is there a possibility of doing an online petition, having all sign it, and faxing/email it to Fox News, O'Reily, Hannity, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN??? Just wondering.

Unfortunately, having lived in West Virginia for several years I can guarantee Rockefeller will not resign and has absouloutly no chance of being voted out. Just like Byrd he will be in the senate untill the day he finally keels over and then the residents of WV still might have his body stuffed and vote him back in anyway.

If this memo isn't breaking news, I don't know what is. Rockefeller needs to resign. I mean it. This is despicable. He has no business on that committe, and no business in the Senate.

So, is this Rockefeller feller responsible for this memo? It doesn't mention any names in the link you provided.

Maybe not, but we should all scream loud and long about this. Keep it in the headlines.....

Maybe he will keep getting elected.
But this is despicable. Let's shine some light right here and now on that cockroach!

Personally, I think this is a great thing for us. It's been revealed to even more people the corruption of the librats and their untrustworthiness to lead our nation.
EVERYTHING they've tried has failed. Rush said it best: "They've put themselves in a position where they can only benefit if the war goes bad, the economy tanks or if the terrorists win." This is yet the latest example that shows them for who they are.
I don't know about you, but I think there's a lot more people chomping at the bit to get to the election booth and vote these people out of power. I know I am..

You're absolutely right. And everyone here knows what would happen if the shoe were on the other foot. A republican caught like this would be drummed out of the Senate.
The Pubbies are just too damn civilized.
Bush should do something dramatic to force the issue, like pulling Rockefeller's security clearance.
But they'll say "We can't do that, the Democrats will be mean".
