My first vanity. I used Fox News because on their front page they have an opinion poll about this memo, and 77 percent of respondents have opposed the tactics in this memo.

a vanity post is one thing, but calling your vanity post 'breaking news' is a bit of a stretch, no?

In an honorable society Rockefeller would follow the family tradition of death by falling on his mistress.

Is there a possibility of doing an online petition, having all sign it, and faxing/email it to Fox News, O'Reily, Hannity, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN??? Just wondering.

Unfortunately, having lived in West Virginia for several years I can guarantee Rockefeller will not resign and has absouloutly no chance of being voted out. Just like Byrd he will be in the senate untill the day he finally keels over and then the residents of WV still might have his body stuffed and vote him back in anyway.

You're absolutely right. And everyone here knows what would happen if the shoe were on the other foot. A republican caught like this would be drummed out of the Senate.
The Pubbies are just too damn civilized.
Bush should do something dramatic to force the issue, like pulling Rockefeller's security clearance.
But they'll say "We can't do that, the Democrats will be mean".

MEMOGATE!
You heard it here first.

Resign?
At the very least this should be turned against the Dumbocrats by having an Independent Investigator appointed to shake down Mr. Rockefeller for a year or two.........or three or four.

A RAT resign. Dream on.

Not only isn't Rockeller disassociating himself from the memo, DemonRATs are angry about how the memo came to light, and are suggesting "dirty tricks!"
I also find it interesting that the revelation of Iraq wanting to negotiate before the start of the war was released yesterday...

I want him gone as well, this is to important to just forgive/forget in my opinion.
But one thing for sure is now President Bush has proof he can show the American public as to why he is keeping such a tight reign on information.

I just emailed Rockefeller and asked for the immediate resignation of any and all who were connected with the memo in any way! I ask all of you to do the same.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am going to wear a button that says "INVESTIGATE MEMO-GATE" this weekend. That should raise some questions with public.

If he is responsible in the manner suggested in the press, he must resign.

Well, of course this little twit should resign. He should be censured and thrown out of the Senate. That being said, he merely did what the RATS have done at all levels of RATDOM, whether in the Senate, the House, the Courts, State and Local Offices, and the Schools.
RATDOM decrees that the primary duty of RATS is to advance and promote the RAT agenda by all means necessary. Anything else is unimportant.
