Fax sent to Roberts. Mail sent to Santorum and (from someone else's link) Gillespie.
Now let's bump this sucker.
"Roberts said he and other Republicans plan to spend a half-hour on the Senate floor today to protest the memo, which Roberts called a Democratic "attack plan." After that, he said, "we'll try to rebuild some bridges. It will be difficult.""
A half hour then rebuild bridges? UNACCEPTABLE!

Thank you. Fax sent. Bump!

Thanks for the link to the other members of the "intelligence" committee. That made it easier to fax or email all the Republicans on there.

LOL...I loved Rockefeller, trying to shift the blame from the perpetrator(s) of the memo to whomever "stole" it out of the garbage or off a computer.
As if the game of memo stealing and leaking hasn't been around as long as governments and documents.

However you feel about Hannity, he's righ ton the money with this. This comittee oversees national security. Them turning it into a political issue is the most serious breach of trust. It's like being at war, in the middle of a battle, discovering one of your own men is giving your position away to the enemy and getting your people killed.

I totally agree that this memo is outrageous. And he deserves a lot of credit for breaking the story.

THANK YOU for posting this! Cool faxing it like that. Here's what I said:
Dear Senator Roberts,
As a lifelong Republican, I am OUTRAGED at the unwillingness of Republican Senators, the MAJORITY party, to take on the Democrat party on the Democrat memo outlining a political strategy to use the power and resources of the Senate Intelligence Committee as a political tool against our President, and the leader of our party.
It is of utmost importance that the Senate Intelligence Committee be impartial and bi-partisan because you deal with the security of American citizens. Senator Rockefeller and Senator Durbin, by their response to the discovery of this disgusting memo, have indicated they do not plan to act in a non-partisan manner in determining whether our nation's pre-9/11 intelligence was flawed. In fact, they seem to want to turn the smoking gun around and face it your way by implying the memo was possibly obtained in a break-in, thus suggesting we have another Watergate-type scandal.
If you do not call for an investigation by the Ethics Committee or ask Senator Rockefeller to resign from the Senate Intelligence committee, it won't be long before they'll be asking for an investigation of YOU and asking YOU to step down.
I support President Bush, his cabinet members and the Grand Old Party. If the majority party doesn't act like one, particularly on this issue (there are many, many others), it'll be the Dead Old Party in a country eventually ruled by a dictator.
Don't let this one slip under the table, Senator Roberts. You can still be one of the "nice, honorable Republicans" and be adamant and forceful at the same time. (President Reagan was adept at this.) We, The People, elected you to represent us. Please do it.
Respectfully,
I didn't use my sparkly signature in the fax, of course. :o)

Here FOX has an opportunity to delve into depth on something of substance and all they do is totally waste time on this complete nonsense. Yep, Same B.S. tonight on H&C. Here is how it went down
25 minutes on Laci
25 minutes on Rosie O' Donnel
5 minutes with Alphonse D'Amato about this subject
5 minutes on what they are going to say about Laci on tomorrow's show.
He is in the center of one of the biggest potential controversies and he is one of the most prominent conservatives (Especially with Rush out) so why in Sam hell at this critical time is all he is talking about is Laci, Laci, Laci and more Laci?

How do you know about this story? Probably same way I am, you saw it or heard it reported on TV or Radio. What do you want the media to do run a month long campaign so even the dumbest slob is forced to learn what the slimy Dems did?

I just emailed my Senator Kit Bond using your letter. I hope you don't mind. I don't mind at all. : ) Glad you found my letter of use!
Maybe a snail mail letter later.
Definitely so. E-mail is often regarded as abstract and without weight because it doesn't arrive in large bags and take up office space. For some reason twenty-thousand e-mails are regarded as an annoyance, but twenty-thousand snail-mails are regarded as a mandate.

I must be a damn weirdo cuz I don't give a rat's ass about Laci or that whole story. The only show on Fox I routinely watch is Brit's show, which I tape and watch when I get home. He didn't spend two seconds on Laci. I know people like to follow these scandalous trials, but to me it's for women. It's very womanly of Hannity to spend so much time on it. Maybe that's his demographic? I am sure Brit has more male viewers than Hannity. Anyway, I definitely agree that time spent on Laci is frivolous time and not serious at all.
