Little Tommy Daschle is mad that he'll have to pony up for Showtime to watch Viacom's attack on Ronald and Nancy Reagan.
CBS's decision to dump "The Reagans" onto its sister pay-cable channel "smells of intimidation to me," the Senate minority leader grumbled today.
Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie, however, noted that putting the schlockumentary before a smaller audience did not make it any less inaccurate. Without changes, Showtime should remind viewers every 10 minutes that the movie is fictional, he said.
CBS's decision "gives new hope to all of the people who don't like what they see on entertainment television," said Robert Thompson, head of Syracuse University's Center for the Study of Popular Television. "All of the special-interest groups can say, 'Look, we got the Reagan docudrama off the air. What's next?'"
How about Dan Rather and Peter Jennings?

No-fair Tommy, don't hit your colleague when their in bed with Alkhiemers and can't respond to you. Not a nice way to play in the sandbox. Naughty Tommy.
And, Oh, Tommy, your playmates in California are not happy about their houses burning down. It was nice that you allowed your state to clean out the dead wood. Would have been nice if you had allowed that to California too. Not to good, Tommy.

And I noticed Little Tommy was equally as vocal regarding the removal of Michael Savage's show from MSNBC and the stonewalling of Dr. Laura's program, which never hit the airwaves because of "protests".

"Blahblahblah," said Robert Thompson, head of Syracuse University's Center for the Study of Popular Television. "Blahblahblah?" LMAO at the thought of a big-name elite University having a Center for the Study of Popular Television. Gawd help us.

Wonder what he'll do when FOX releases the miniseries "The Daschle's" in 2013?
William H Macy is even now practicing his "deeply saddened" facial expressions.

so slither on over to showtime where the rest of the American haters can "pay"
to wallow in their lies and glory in their propagandist's "art"

Sen. Tom "Thumb" Daschle should be glad CBS puled this mini-series. The resulting loss of revenue to Viacom from airing this stinker would probably have meant less money for them to pour into his 2004 Senate campaign.

Isn't this the same guy that expressed concern over whether Rush Limbaugh should be allowed to discuss him on the radio?

Laura Ingraham has been raking Da$hole and the gals from "The View" on her radio show all morning. The poor left is just out of touch with most average Americans.

Didn't the Reagan's daughter say she had seen it and it was so unbalanced - to the point of being idiotic? I think they went so far over the top, the thing must be laughable. Even Less Moonves had to see that.

The way liberals have talked about Reagan all these years, you would think they had boxes and boxes of damning stories. Turns out the ones who hate the Reagans the most can't even come up with four hours of hate -- unless they add blatant lies. It's a new low for democrats.
Little Tommy Daschle can wallow in Showtime's lies while hanging to the illusion the world sees Reagan the way he does... Pathetic.

We didn't intimidate CBS. Who would want to do that?
Instead, we just convinced them it would not be financially wise to show the mini-series on network TV.
IMHO, SeeBS could make majorly big bucks by putting the movie, in it's original form, on DVD and selling it for $25 a pop to you and Babs and your pathetic liberal buds.

Isn't South Dakota a 'red' state? Is there any chance that South Dakotans will send the Puffster a message next year and not send him back to the Senate?
