I'm not willing to vote third party until there is a viable third party candidate. If just a few more conservatives had walked in 2000, you'd be pissed at President Gore and living in the United Nations of America.

I hear what yer sayin', as I do not think I could live with myself were I to do anything that would assist in saddling the good military folks of America with a Howie Dean as Commander-in-Chief. Still, how do genuine fiscal conservatives get the message to Dubyuh and the GOP Congress that the Status Quo is simply unacceptable?! Virginia's a good solid GOP win state fer Dubyuh, as we haven't lent our electoral votes to a DemonRAT Presidential candidate since LBJ in '64. If the polls show Dubyuh winning comfortably in Virginny, I can foresee a scenario wherein a good number of conservatives vote fer a third-party candidate to make the point that we shall not be taken fer granted.

Of course, Dubyuh could make all this unnecessary by using the upcoming 11 months to fulfill the "conservative" aspect of his Compassionate Conservative campaign promises of 2000. And folks like you and those who heartily support this excellent Commander-in-Chief could be extremely helpful in assisting him to see the error of his ways by speaking up against what all good Fiscal Conservatives must admit is outta control Federal largesse. You can have yer cake (excellent foreign policy performance) and eat it, too (domestic fiscal conservatism) if you'll only help in demanding it.

Or you can simply sit back and accept whatever Dubyuh offers and call it manna from Heaven, despite the fact that both you and I know it ain't so.
