...and CBS is in big, big trouble. Coming up next for those interested. Should be interesting since O'Reilly has taken a moderate position until viewing the movie.

It worked. CBS just canceled 'The Reagans' according to Drudge. It's on his site now.
God bless the Gipper and Nancy.

But it will be on Showtime, uncut.
To: rintense
he's not sure it is fair To fair to O'Rielly, what I heard him say was: I'm not YET sure it is fair. I think what he implied was, until the Reagan movie is released and shown to the public in it's final form, he is not sure that it is fair to boycott CBS. My guess is that CBS will chicken out and scrub this obscene "movie", which will be a victory for all of us.
To: El Conservador
they'll pass it on to Showtime, and bury it under the grave of premium cable It will be available to be shown to future generations as "history," which I believe to be their actual purpose in making it. sickening

WOW! Great news!
Must have been the email I just sent them, using my post (slightly edited)! LOL!
I changed the ending to include this line, thought you all might like it...
"It's beyond despicable. We will never forget. CBS, you will be writing your own exit
stage left.

I don't think it will even air there. Nancy and her lawyer have some work to do. She still has powerful friends.

I'm late to the party...Republican, of course, but that was a great rant. I'm even sending it to my mom.

Thanks Reagan79! Can I ask the significance of the 79?
Yeah, let me tell you what kind of movie I could make about Bubba and Shrill if I had $10 million to spend and access to a network. I'd do us all proud, that's for sure!

Shifted to Showtime or to some other chinese broadcasting station, I think O'Reilly will have to join, {or as he would like to say it, "lead"} with the boycott, if he wants to retain any credibility with his largest audience, the conservatives of the USA. I hope he does the right thing, he still is a powerful voice that to some extent (not always) can mitigate the impact of the corrosive leftwing media.
To: harpo11
Yeah...but don't tell him. I just have this suspicious feeling that O'reilly will take credit for this move by CBS tomorrow on his show?

Good post.
One of our family stories is my then toddler son hearing that Reagan had won the election. As a socialist/democrat, I guess I had been ranting enough about the election that he knew something was up, even if he didn't understand it all. So, the little fella comes to me and says, "Mommy, Reagan won. What happens to us now?" I swear.
Strange how time and life experience changes your perspective. Son and I are now both Reagan fans and were appalled at what CBS wanted to do. I have no problem with political debate. Surely CBS could have presented the Reagan years in a way that would encourage legitimate debate. But what CBS did was a pure smear job on a dying man and shame on them for it.
Again, good post. Thanks for taking the time to write it. I'm sure you speak for a lot of us.

Quote of the MONTH!!! Thanks Nakatu X! I'm honored you would say that, especially seeing how discriminating and precise and literate you always seem to be!
