In addition to the fact that mention was made that any attack would begin in London. Ai Gulf flies directly there. I fell that the origination point is of importance here...

"I am seriously thinking to have our own community and start a 'new' Free Republic!!! I'm in...and I've got my own George Foreman grill, too!"

Count me in too, I have a GF grill. : ) Been trying to figure out how to get out of North Tijuana AKA So California for a year. Where would be a nice safe place?

Hmmm... I am looking past hundreds of posts and I have not yet seen the one about coastwatchers. It sounds interesting. I will find it though because I have been back and forth all over this huge thread since early November of 2003. I must say this thread is a challenge to keep up with and it can be dizzying going back and forth to check the original comments and the replies!

"severnaya project readied and prepared for delivery "-- I'd sure like to know what this refers to. Googled, severnaya has extensive listings as a Russian shipyard.

Severnaya also appears to be a web server.

So far I've checked:

Chicago O'Hare, Newark Liberty, D.C. Dulles and Los Angeles. Neither Gulf Air or Egypt Air fly in directly to these airports.

Any others you think I should check?

Glad you're back safe and sound. I heard on LA news this afternoon that a woman was arrested by the FBI because she insisted on standing by the lavatory near the front of the plane. I didn't get any details nor can I find it on the web, maybe tomorrow. People are going to have to learn that they cannnot fool around on planes in flight any longer.

Can you check London? Like I posted earlier, EOM indicated that an attack would begin there first...

I "think" the originating flight crew does fly the flight all the way to the destination though.

I remember way back around the time of the Egypt Air crash some of the news reports were discussing how difficult it was to communicate with pilots who didn't understand the English flight communication "lingo".
