I can see the site of the former reactor from my office. Actually, it was shut down before 9/11, though terrorism concerns were part of the issue (before the Olympics). It was shut down because it was old and decrepit. I don't think there has been any fuel material at that site for quite a while.

Have these been checked against European and Mexican Flight numbers?

I tried a preliminary check, but I didn't have the time to find anything this morning. I will let everyone know if I can link these to flights.

That is good news. All our family is down there. We were talking at Christmas and I made mention and my brother said it had been closed but didnt say how long I thought it was recently.
On the map from earlier post there doent seen to be any cells in the south except North Carolina and Texas. I dont know what to figure from that?

Katherine Smith's case was one of the many cases, which was never really disclosed to the US Nation, however she was connected with the early Sep11th attack investigation of the FBI. In February 2002, some news papers reported, that Smith, who had been charged "in a scheme with five men to sell fraudulent licenses...died in a fiery car crash the day before her first court appearance, a crash the prosecutor called "most unusual and suspicious" Source: http://abcnews.go.com/wire/US/ap20020212_991.html

Katherine Smith sold IDs to five of the hijackers was "smothered with gasoline and "firebombed" in her car one day before she was scheduled to testify. Source: Kansas

City Star, 02/16/02 FBI agent J. Suzanne Nash said authorities were trying to determine what caused the car to burn. The gas tank did not explode and the car was only slightly dented from the crash. "Her death was not the result of the crash itself," said THP Capt. Jimmy Erwin. "Her death was by other means." (March 6th 2002) Source : http://www.gomemphis.com/mca/local_news/article/0,1426,MCA_437_1016243,00.html As investigative journalist Wayne Madsen (->) reported in an article at counterpunch, Katherine Smith mysterious death was examined at the same institute who examined Don C Wiley (->), the MicroBiologist, who died under strange circumstances in 2001. (Source: http://www.counterpunch.org/madsenanthrax.html

) And "...in yet another strange twist, on March 14 (2002), a bomb and two smaller explosive devices were found at the Shelby County Regional Forensic Center, which houses the morgue and Medical Examiner's Office that conducted Wiley's autopsy. Dr. O.C, Smith, the medical examiner, told Memphis' Commercial Appeal, "We have done several high-profile cases from Dr. Wiley to Katherine Smith (a Department of Motor Vehicles employee mysteriously found burned to death in her car after being charged in a federal probe with conspiracy to obtain fraudulent drivers' licenses for men of Middle East origin) but there has been no indication that we offended anyone . . . we just don't know if we were the attended target or not." Two of the five men, connected with the Katherine Smith case and fraudulent licenses had been Khaled Odtllah and Sakhera Hammad (Denko Mechanical->). When Hammad was arrested, investigators found a visitor's pass for the World Trade Center, dated Sept. 5, 2001, in his wallet. He told authorities he was a plumber who worked on the center's sprinkler system.

Unknown O.C. Smith Attacker

Attempted Murder

Data From: Memphis P.D., TBI & ATF

(AMW: 6/22/02)

Police in Memphis, Tennessee are hunting for the man who viciously assaulted the Shelby County Medical Examiner.

On June 1, 2002, Memphis police say Dr. O.C. Smith, the Shelby County Medical Examiner, was attacked. Detectives say Smith left his office shortly after 10:00 pm. As Dr. Smith exited the building, police say a man ambushed him, throwing some kind of chemical in his face, which burned Smith's skin and temporarily blinded him. Police say Dr. Smith was beaten and thrown down a nearby stairwell. Police say the attacker then wrapped Dr. Smith in barbed wire and chained him to a window gate. Detectives say before the attacker fled the scene, he placed a bomb on Dr. Smith's chest. Dr. Smith stood motionless for more than two hours before a patrol officer found him. The bomb squad was notified and they were able to safely remove the device. Smith was treated for his injuries and is currently under 24-hour police protection. Police say three letters threatening Dr. Smith were sent to three different people in Memphis in April 2001. Police say the reason for the threats stems from Dr. Smith's testimony in a clemency hearing for a convicted cop killer, Philip Workman. In March 2002, police discovered a bomb outside of Dr. Smith's office. Detectives say the man who attacked Dr. Smith is the same person who wrote the letters and planted the bomb in March.

Don C. Wiley, Harvard's John L. Loeb Professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics and one of the most distinguished structural biologists of his generation, died recently at the age of 57.

Wiley was reported missing Nov. 16 by the Memphis, Tenn., police after his rental car was found on a bridge over the Mississippi River. He was in Memphis attending a meeting of the board of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Wiley's body was recovered from the river on Dec. 20.

Ya know--this EOM guy is probably reading these posts. I'm thinking more and more that he's just trying to pull our chains, and it's working.

You could be right. The thought certainly crossed my mind. But curiosity gets the best of me, I have to see if there is anything to the message. For the record, I'm not buying into EOM hook, line, and sinker. But I'm not going to dismiss it out of hand either.

So we infidels are in for a bad day when the Angel shines upon Islam, I'm guessing.

I agree with your assessment, I think that's meant as a threat to us infidels.

On July 1, 1997, the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) administration notified the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of their intent to decommission the Georgia Tech Research Reactor (GTRR). The GTRR is a 5-megawatt (MW) heavy-water-cooled nuclear reactor located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. In the summer of 1999, the NRC issued a license amendment to decommission the GTRR in accordance with NRC’s Regulatory Guide 1.86. In the spring of 1999, Georgia Tech and the State of Georgia contracted the services of CH2M HILL to serve as the Executive Engineer to manage the decommissioning project. Later in the summer of 1999, the IT Corporation was selected as the decommissioning contractor. IT subcontracted the waste management activities to GTS/Duratek, and the contractor mobilized on the Georgia Tech site in November 1999 to begin the dismantlement process. By February 2000, the reactor support systems, such as the primary and secondary cooling water systems, and the bismuth cooling system, were removed and packaged for off-site disposal. The reactor internals were removed in April 2000. The bioshield removal occurred in the May to November 2000 time frame. Various levels of effort were spent throughout January 2001 decontaminating concrete structures, including the Spent Fuel Storage Hole. The Final Survey report is anticipated to be submitted to the NRC in March 2001, and the final license termination is expected from the NRC August of 2001.

The reactor was licensed in 1964 with an engineered lifetime of 30 years. It operated through November 17, 1995 and generated 40,204 MW-hours (hr) of thermal energy over its lifetime. After 30 years of operations, Georgia Tech applied for a license renewal. As a part of the license renewal, the conversion of the reactor from high-enriched fuel to low-enriched fuel was planned. Because Georgia Tech was to serve as the Olympic Village and the venue for several sporting events during the summer of 1996, the Georgia Tech Administration had the fuel removed and shipped to the Savannah River Site in February 1996.

In May 1997, the NRC renewed the GTRR operating license. However, shortly thereafter, the Georgia Tech Administration decided not to receive the low-enriched fuel, but to decommission the reactor instead. The administration cited several reasons for this decision: (1) approximately $2 million in renovations would be required to bring the reactor up to present-day standards; (2) under utilization of the reactor for the previous 10 years; (3) major public and political attention during the Olympics, and (4) the cost of continued operation.

I ran IP traces on EOM posts going back to just before Christmas on about seven different IP's. The one you have here would be number 8 which i also just ran.

All resolve to Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Well, I guess that's a pretty good indicator. :) Thanks for your hard work Sean.

Isn't the Queen Mary 2 set to depart today? And if I remember correctly, isn't the destination Miami?

Lets say these threats are (REAL). Not just bluster.

This entire "Airplane" thing is a well planned diversion.

They might try to take down a plane in a smaller attack.
(doubtful)

The next "Big" attack (G-d forbid), if it happens, will come by land or sea.

It will be a Bio/Chem. or Radiation (nuclear) attack.

It will be an attack that none of us will expect or imagine.

Right under our noses.

I didn't say it was a fake, I just said it's not the usual IP. It is the same rhetoric though.

No problem. :) I was just curious what your feeling was on this post.

I completely agree. I've thought for the last two weeks that all of the nervousness about airplanes was a diversion.

It wouldn't surprise me if they actually do something with airplanes to draw our attention and resources... and then attempt a sucker punch.
