Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

How about a local Freeper survey of persons listed in the phone book under Arabic names?

"Hello, this is 'Real Estate Dan' calling on behalf of the Calpernia Group, and we're wondering if you're planning on relocating from the [L.A., D.C., or N.Y.C.] city area within the next few weeks? We're trying to gauge the market dynamics in your area."

A sample of a thousand calls per city might give an indication as to the effect of the warnings for Muslims to evacuate these urban areas.

It would be most interesting to determine what percentage of these phone lines turn out to have been disconnected.

I had encountered a Yahoo burp trying to actively participate in that site. My Yahoo ID I tried entering with had a space character that new Yahoo rules didn't recognize with that Nic.

My point was, I jumped on the idea of Joe X's Yahoo group, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/eom_and_daleel cause it was a great idea. But LayoutGuru did try to do it first. I was only able to enter Joe x's group cause I used a different Yahoo Nic.

I would think that they could have it hidden in a basement somewhere. If decided it was time then they could have it wheeled out onto the side walk and detonated before anyone could respond. I don't see to much up hope of them getting something in the country at this time. It would have to be already here. Lets hope that it is not.

FEMA has already built cities for us to be moved to. I'm one of the NY area people that will be moved if I'm not killed from the attack.

NYC area is an officially announced target. If and when an attack occurs, we will be in lock down. That means no public movement on streets. We can't leave the border. This will assist in maintaining control. If evacuation is necessary, places have been built for us.

Personally, I would like forewarning. I prefer to move to the sticks and fend for myself (including family). Realistically, I'm scared to death; but refuse to let the terrorists get the best of me. I lived through 9/11. Family, friends, and business partners didn't. But if I cave now, then they died for nothing.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic Jan. 5 — Two Canadian men were detained for suspected links to terrorism after acting strangely aboard a flight from France to the Dominican Republic, authorities said Monday.

The two were detained after Air Europa Flight 89 landed in Santo Domingo Sunday night, said Gen. Fernando Cruz Mendez, director of national Investigations. They have not been charged and authorities did not find any weapons, Cruz said.

"They acted very nervous on board," he said. "They went in and out of the bathrooms, including a few times together."

He did not say why Dominican authorities suspected the men had possible links to terrorist activities."
