[history]
Monday, November 3, 2003
A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

The Superbowl is in Houston, Texas the night of Feb.1, which would be the morning of Feb. 2 in the Middle East.

The Patriots host Buffalo at Foxboro, MA this Saturday afternoon, and will probably host an AFC Divisional Playoff game the weekend of 1/10-11.
Add to that the Redskins hosting Philadelphia this Saturday evening in Landover, MD.
Both areas, while suburban (Boston & DC respectively), could possibly be called "rural" by some.

Part of me does not think
that even AlQaeda would be quite so bold about hinting their deliberate willingness to start WWIII
UNLESS
the puppet masters had aided and abetted them
AND
clued them in on the scheduled results of their efforts.
Consider it tinfoil if you wish. Stranger things have been true.
And, I don't think we will be able to prove it until it's too late.

I actually sent a message to Daleel and asked him to post it to a site with more bandwidth, he replied asking me if I could host the file for him.Daleel is certainly on the authorities' radar. Every time he posts his drivel or communicates, he reveals his precise location (via his source IP address). It wouldn't take more than 24 hours to track him down. And that's being generous.
Actually from reading "his" junk its pretty clear he's either reposting for others, or there are multiple individuals with access to the "Daleel" account.
In any case I've little doubt that "Daleel" has already been more-or-less ID'd by the authorities. You should be aware of that when you communicate with him or visit his Yahoo account.

Agreed. China and Russia are not to be trusted.

Not arguing with your science or technology assertions, Poohbah.
I just contend that AlQaeda IS capable of servicing the nukes sufficiently to get the job done. How many? That's a whole 'nother issue. But I could imagine 3--maybe 5 IF they had a LOT of early help setting things up long beforehand. I can't imagine 20 container nukes roaming around, all being sufficiently serviced. I think your assertions would cut into that more than even AlQaeda could manage.

"A Remote Threat"
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Mizell, who gathers data on security and terrorist incidents, says precedent for such attacks exists. He has recorded 43 cases involving 14 terrorist groups in which remote-control delivery systems were "either threatened, developed, or actually utilized." Only last year it was reported, for example, that Osama bin Laden considered using remote-control airplanes packed with explosives to kill President George W. Bush and other heads of state at the G-8 summit in Genoa, Italy. In 1995, reports indicated that Aum Shinrikyo, the Japanese terrorist group that attacked the Tokyo subway with sarin gas, planned to use remote-control helicopters to spray dangerous chemicals from the air. The helicopters crashed during testing. In the 1980s, the Basque separatist group ETA tried to blow up a Spanish patrol ship using a four-foot remote-control boat packed with explosives."

Your real question is whether Russia and China are comfortable with the notion of the Muslim Caliphate desired by the Islamists, which is the whole point and at the heart of everything they do.
While I'm certain that Russia and China would like to see the wind taken from America's sails, I'm not so sure they'd like or could tolerate the full-bore Caliphate as desired by the Islamists (esp. Russia with trouble already on its borders and knowing the Caliphate is eventually to include Europe). Any collapse of America's economy (the Islamist's goal) is certain to have the same effect on China, with massive social disruption.
Do they want that? I don't think so.
Europe is either ignorant or simply doesn't care that the Caliphate is envisioned to include Rome and Constantinople.

I personally am more inclined to think the word Rural was mistranslated.I might agree, unless this whole scenario is to be some kind of revenge for Clinton shooting that camel in the backside with a 2 million dollar missile a few years ago.

Yes, but the Russian and Chinese economies are so intertwined with ours that anything disastrous would have severe consequences on their domestic turf.
I would guess they're hoping for American influence to be restrained by these confrontations with the Islamists, and not much more.
China badly wants to retake Taiwan, but they'd like to see us humbled (not destroyed) before they attempt it.

On the other thread I mentioned Gettysburg, PA. as a target. Rural, thousands of visitors, even in mid-winter. Two huge outlet malls adjoining. Symbolic value.
AND--Bushes spend Christmas at Camp David, just a few miles away. A two-fer.
But I hope not. I love Gettysburg.

i TEND to agree.
But I don't trust the CIA further than I can throw the UN building.
Nor the FBI.
Supposedly the CURRENT (if I'm not mistaken and have lost track) CIA head is an authentic Christian with a genuine close walk with God. But there are subteranean nooks and cranies in any big bureaucracy that are kept totally out of awareness of the folks at the top--PARTICULARLY an organization like the CIA.

From EOM's post:
"You think it was one stupid little amerikkkan who blew up a building in oklahoma then you are so gullible. Face to the east and see the light"
He's saying that the Oklahoma City attack was the work of Islamic Jihad, not just McVeigh.

I think he's authentic. I don't think he's a double agent.
I think he's a gentle hearted enough individual that he may have some trouble being sternly forceful enough in tone and mood for some of his wording.
