Not an encoded message. That homeland security site uses Ajeeb, an online translation service. Arabic uses nuances and historic references which are lost in machine translators.

My friend retranslated that message this afternoon. This is what my friend sent:

This appears to be poetry of some type. It appears to threaten the US, Bush, Rumsfeld, the US miliary, and the Saudi ruling family.

It is so broad that it may just be rhetoric designed to inflame. Hopefully that is all it is.

2 observations: "we will remove the darkness from your night", (repeated twice), and the reference to 3 a.m. tells me that if anything happens, it will be at night.

Well, that's just non-sensical. How can someone's life be turned to sadness if you've killed them in the previous sentence?
