Cairo, Egypt-AP -- There are celebrations reported across the Arab world, after the news of more American casualties in Iraq.
Resistance to the occupation is applauded by some who see it as proof that Iraqis weren't totally humiliated by the relative ease of the U-S-led coalition's toppling of Saddam Hussein.
Many Arabs had warned an invasion of Iraq could drag the region into chaos. In Damascus today, foreign ministers from countries bordering Iraq again called on the U-S to restore order in that country.

Just a reminder that we have enough oil between Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico to support us at our current fossil fuel use rate for around 120 years. We don't need their oil as much as they need our food if we would just drill in the small areas we have found. The only problem is that we would have an over-abundance of caribou due to the birth rate jumping because the cows started dropping calves next to heated oil transfer pipes.

The middle east will revert back to the goat humping backwater nomadic past that the mentality in the region dictates. What do you mean, revert? This is the status quo.

Yes, the Poles really turned out to be great freinds. And more than most know..In the first Gulf War, the Poles handled US interests in Iraq, up to and including helping Western Diplomats escape..

Everyone who fights a war under the rules of the Geneva Covention will lose to terrorist.
These people dictating this should be required to walk around over there draped in an American flag without a weapon but I forgot politicians and lawyers dont fight wars.

I felt very strongly, that right after Bush gave the "end of major combat" speech to Americans, he should have given another speech, this time addressing the Iraqi people directly and exclusively, and told them point blank - now is the time, if you want to be free, to help us rid the country of Baathists and terrorists once and for all.
Arabs respect strong leadership. They don't respect flunkies delivering the message.
If Bush doesn't un-muddle the message and the mission, we could lose this thing, and invite the next.

This helicopter 'incident' and now the aftermath is taking ANY sympathy I had for ANY Muslim and turning it into dust. Moderates? Until they start condemning this crap, they are fodder for our cannons.

IMO it would be far better if the Arab countries would undergo a reformation to bring them in alignment with the rest of civilization.Vegas odds...1:6.02 x 1023

You nailed it. Just what I was thinling. You can't add rules for warfare. We need to reduce rules and start kicking ass.

It's real easy to identify the enemy, they're the ones dancing in the streets. Shoot them and pretty soon there will be no one dancing in the street when Americans are killed.
To: Armed Civilian
Well, that's a very intriguing statement. Please elaborate.
