Celebrations Erupt Across Arab World after US Chopper Crash

Cairo, Egypt-AP -- There are celebrations reported across the Arab world, after the news of more American casualties in Iraq.

Resistance to the occupation is applauded by some who see it as proof that Iraqis weren't totally humiliated by the relative ease of the U-S-led coalition's toppling of Saddam Hussein.

Many Arabs had warned an invasion of Iraq could drag the region into chaos. In Damascus today, foreign ministers from countries bordering Iraq again called on the U-S to restore order in that country.

I saw the first one by a blown up truck,young men celebrating and then the gathering of souvenirs to celebrate the downing.I cannot express how much I wished the celebrants dead.

Whether it's FOX NEWS or any of the other channels that show this footage, We have to see this. This is the reason we continue to fight because of thier zeal in defeating America. Nothing has changed since 9/11.

Considering I have no loved ones in the military, I'm hesitant in calling for more of our soldiers to go route out these murderers, but that's just what we need to do.

The killing of 15 soldiers will probably embolden these killers to rally for more brazen hits against our men/women on the front line.

The images are hard to view. We will not, we can not turn and run away.

Fox news has shown itself to be just another propaganda mill lately, trying return their audiences to a post 9-11 somnambulent state with irrelevant junk. With everything going on in the world, our open borders and immigrant amnesty guaranteeing a doorway to terrorists in this country, the ONLY stories you see on their evening programs are the boring, tasteless and time wasting Kobe Bryant and Scott Peterson. Who the heck gives a good gosh darn about these two dregs?

Why intrude on a family's grief at a funeral? If the families want to come forward and talk to the press, I'm sure they'll have the opportunity. I'm not going to fault FOX for their coverage in this case.

I watch Fox to find out what is going on. Not that it is a favorite, but we don't have too much of an alternative. We need to see what we are dealing with here, and its not a religion of peace. You can bet it is being played and replayed in the Arab world by Al Jazeera. I say Laurie Dhue when she was talking about this, she could barely get her words out she was so upset.

At this point I'm not entusiastic about winning hearts and minds.

It seems we're constantly between two extremes. The cowardly serviceman being repremanded for being too cowardly or the Commander who threatens a terrorists, gets the necessary information, but is court martialled for doing his job~saving his men from death.
