Nope, he/she is not only ready to give up and let terror win... she/she is ready to let terror win on our soil. The moment we "give up" in the ME, they are going to flow onto our soil.

CNN is, as well as Rumsfeld being quoted in the AP and Reuters. Lead story on cnn.com right now as well as foxnews.com who said it is a "minimum" of 15. Some of these 21 injured are severe, and may not make it.

Gephardt on FoxNews giving an interview. Gephardt is wanting us to give our sovereignty over to others [the UN or whoever]. Gephardt seems to think the US is incapable of handling our own affairs.

Coalition force told Fox News that is was an anti aircraft missile fired at the helicopter. 2 were actually fired, 1 missed.
We have a $500 reward for those who turn them in (it should be higher). There are hundreds of unaccounted for of these missiles from Saddam's arsenal.

Well, if we had more people like you around when this great nation was being formed we would all be speaking the queen's English right now.
I am the sister of a soldier serving in Iraq and I know that my brother wants to finish the job we started.

But that only works if such an incident were occurring every day...and they are not by any stretch of the imagination.
We have been averaging more like 15 total per month.
Now, any death is a tragedy and horror, but these are volunteer troops who signed up to defend their country and knew the risks...God bless them all.
The press and the media/political whores, lefitsts and marxists amongst us would like us to respond in just such a fashion, believeing it is another Vietnam...and a Vietnam BTW of their definition. We cannot let ourselves be drug into such thinking IMHO.
We are doing the right thing in Iraq and must hold the course.

Folks, I'm for this war as much as the next person, but enough is enough. Why can't we get the upper hand and finally get rid of these terrorists once and for all?

maybe the aggressiveness of our young troops is creating more hostility than stop it. You signed up just today to share your opinion that this is due to "the aggressiveness of our young troops", did you.
Interesting. How did you find our little corner of the web? Via DU?

Another reference to "the upper hand".
I detect a new talking point.

No my friend it's time to get the hell out of there. Let them settle their own affairs. Bring our boys home now.
Clinton did that in Somolia. That emboldened Bin Laden. Bin Laden planned African embassy bombings; USS Cole; World Trade Center; Pentagon.
No, appeasing terrorism doesn't work. We have a decade of proof that unfinished military missions result is worse situations later.
If we turn tail and run, we'll have decades of terrorism at home and abroad. No more Clintonizing our foreign policy; it has already cost too many American lives.

I'll tell you why. Just as before, we are letting politicians and lawyers run the war. We are expected to be politically correct in fighting a guerilla war. We are expected to be ladies and gentleman while allowing the other side to be savages. It has to end. I say let the military do what it does best and get these snake politicians and left wing lawyers out of the war of terror.

No my friend it's time to get the hell out of there. Let them settle their own affairs. Bring our boys home now. I'm curious - for the sake of argument, let's say we evacuated Iraq immediately.
What would be your response to the next Islamo-Fascist suicide attack on American soil?
An apology to those who hate us?
Surrender?
Dismantle our evil capitalistic society and replace it with an agrarian Utopia?
I am really curious.
Tell me what you would do?
