The thing that's really great is that it wasn't "just us". It was as if all conservatives finally got up off their haunches and said "enough" to See-BS. That doesn't mean we didn't lead the way, though. ; )

How the heck can CBS edit, or re-edit, or re-re-edit? James Brolin's masque-like Reagan face is seen throughout the movie. Cartoonish, eerie and unsettling.

TRUE STORY (semi-related to topic)
When my folks drove me out to Los Angeles from Colorado to attend college, my dad had illustrated that year's poster for the national Humane Society, so we were given a royal tour of several movie sets in and around LA which were using animals. Very fun tour.
One set was in a deserted Broadway department store in downtown LA, where they were filming a movie about a guy trapped in a store after hours, who had to fend off guard dogs.
As we watched a scene being filmed, a shoddy looking guy off camera kept staring at me with a lecherous grin...my mom even noticed...he was a mess and we thought he was a disgusting bum. In the next scene, that same "bum" had to interact with the dogs, hanging from one arm from a pipe overhead. He was absolutely furious at the attention the dogs were getting, leaving him hanging there for several 'takes'. ( Filming laws are more protective of animals on a set than actors, so I could understand his outrage.)
But to this day, whenever I see or hear of James Brolin, I remember him shouting the *F* word that day on the set 30 years ago, flirting like an idiot, dressed like a "bum", starring in that stupid movie.
Bad actor then...worse actor now. His Reagan imitation won't fool anyone.

My guess this is out of show and not much more, meaning they will claim they didn't have a taker and be forced to air the film anyway. Who knows, but CBS, or other networks for that matter, rarely if ever do what this article states. I mean, CBS has their own production company. If the movie wasn't good enough for CBS, somehow it is good enough for Showtime? This theory doesn't fly with me. However, this is what happens, and rightly so, when any company or group infuriates the American people.

Well, so for once, all of our calls, letters, emails and outrage worked?
Beware Showtime. If you intend to buy this movie and air it like it is, you will be next.

This will STILL be distributed overseas. This only gets it off broadcast air and onto cable. Contrast, Sex and the City is boardcast in europe off of REGULAR airways. This does not affect distribution.
Hallmark entertainment is still silent on the controversy.
This is smoke and mirrors.
Showtime would be incredibly stupid to buy this white elephant. They would be EVEN EASIER TO CUT OFF. They are cable and purchased at a premium.
Hellow cable company, please cancel my showtime.
