Oklahoma is awesome, no doubt. They're so good they remind of the Hurricanes. lol
You take your NCAA a bit too seriously dontcha think?

Oklahoma is the best team in the nation right now. They probably will go undefeated and be the crowned the champion.
USC is the next best team, and is capable of beating OU with a few breaks.
That's the way the season could and should end up.
Miami has some great players, but most of us saw this loss coming a mile away.

Boy you sure had to wait a long time to post this :)
Certainly, real Canes fans understood that this team was not as good as it was the past three years. Close calls to the Gators and WVU made that abundantly clear.
You sound like a small, bitter man, but I like you non-sports posts, so I'll quite right there!
Hokies kicked some major a$$ today, they deserve alot of credit.

Thanks for posting. My Huskers lost today :( , but watching the godless, outlaw Miami Hurricanes get their behinds handed to them tonight definitely made me feel a little better.
To be honest, Miami probably should have lost once or twice already this year. They have been such an overrated team this year. And a pain in the neck to boot. Bunch of trash-talking primadonnas. Good riddance.

Without a playoff, its all just figure skating and beauty pagents.Yep, Miami was so highly touted and some said they should have been #1, and yet VT had no problems at all.
I was surprised UT beat Nebraska - I really figured Nebraska would beat them, but it looks like Nebraska is as overrated as UT was.
The sad thing, the ESPN commentators saying how Miami should still be ranked higher than VT because of West Virginia, I was like "what the **** did I just hear?". WV almost beat Miami if I remember correctly. If VT beat Miami and beat them badly, they are a better team than Miami, period.
A lot of coaches are going to be upset, since there really are about half a dozen teams that deserve to play OU. OU will steamroll them all, but there are about half a dozen that deserve it.
Hopefully this will make a better case for getting some kind of playoffs. USC has ever right, as do several other teams, to play for a national championship, and it's going to come down to a popularity contest.

Oh what a happy day!!! I don't know what was better, UF beating Georgia (again!) or Miami (and that traitor Brock Berlin) getting humiliated by VT??

I agree 100% with the assessment of Miami and their fans.

If you want to see something truly bizarre, check out the SEC East. If Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia all win out in their SEC games, which is very possible, they will be in a three-way tie for the division championship. Now here's the kicker, since they can't use head-to-head since each has a loss against another co-leader, the division champ will be determined by:
A vote of SEC athletic directors not from those schools or the West champ. LOL! Do you think Phil Fulmer is thinking twice about constantly running up the score on Vandy all these years? How many SEC schools did Spurrier embarrass over the years, and do you think for a moment that they've forgotten? Who's dying to piss on Uga? This is going to be hillarious.

I'm really torn here.
I have hated Miami for 20 years. I mean I have hated them with an intense passion. I have hated them with a maniacal and almost psychotic hatred.
But, Brock Berlin's dad is a friend of mine and I have met and spoken with Brock. They are the two best people anyone would ever want to meet. Brock's dad flies to every game to see his son play.
I can honestly say I have never met a more kind, decent man in my life. I simply cannot root against them while Brock is there.

[I]t is a sham and a total joke.Sort of like big-time college sports in general, where the words "student" and "athelete" really don't belong in the same sentence.

They sure looked like the heavily penalized, trash talking, thuggish, gang bums of old, mixing it up after practically every play in the final 4 minutes Eagles fans in training.......

Sorry, but I'm tired of the total scam that is the BCS/poll system propping Miami, FSU, Texas(my team),My team, Arkansas, when they played Texas showed the truth of your statement.
