A Christian American President is more threatening to the Eurosnots than militant Islamic radicals who want to destroy freedom and send the world back to the 10th century.

LOL:
"in the lead-up to announcing his candidacy for the presidency, Bush told a Texan evangelist that he had had a premonition of some form of national disaster happening."
Ya think the author might want to rephrase that?

Democrats and Eurocrats have chosen their side. The Islamist side. Christianity is enemy #1 for these people. Our military is #2.

Heck, they're all Christians. Some just more so that others. Can you imagine an atheist even being nominated?

I am reading "The Faith of George W. Bush" by Stephen Mansfield right now. I am finishing the first chapter, but it is very comforting to me to have a Godly man in the White House. Contrary to what the left-wing extremists think, the vast majority of Americans are comforted as well. The book is a great read so far.

Praise GOD that Little ELIAN's forced trip back to Communist Cuba turned 75,000 Cuban-American Florida Votes over to BUSH in Election Year 2000, giving him the American Presidency.

It will stir up controversy at a time when the administration is keen to portray its 'war on terror' as non-religious.The media just have to stick the word controversy into everything they write about this man. They would probably find it 'controversial' if it was learned that he puts his right shoe on first .... sheesh!

The leftists were so much more comfortable with a man who carried his bible openly, went to church VERY publicly, held prayer meetings in the White House in an effort to fool the public into thinking he was repenting for his sins.
They shared in the joke on those who thought X42 was sincere!

What's wrong with Bush praying with this young soldier? Is this supposed to be some kind of problem?
To: Pokey78
If that is the case then by all means do just that. Lead us away from the muslim religion ....islam and begin from your knees and ask forgiveness for the error of your ways that has the potential to destroy this Nation you are mandated to save. We are watching to see how well you follow Jehovah Giria's orders! He does not find this amusing so get with it! We will be waiting for you to catch up with the rest of us!

The gratuitous inclusion of the incident in Mississippi is hysterical. These people are so funny. I wonder what the author wants us to think about that.

Well the issue is that the Middle East are trying to say we are on a crusade and to have a President who claims to be there by God instead of the people kind of puts Islam against Christianity in a religious war.
Not the preferred perception.

The Telegraph (UK) ^ | 10-17-2003 | David Rennie God put Bush in charge, says the general hunting bin Laden By David Rennie (Filed: 17/10/2003) The general leading the hunt for Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein has publicly declared that the Christian God is "bigger" than Allah, who is a false "idol", and believes the war on terrorism is a fight with Satan, it emerged yesterday. Investigative reporters from the Los Angeles Times and NBC television have dug up two years' worth of seemingly incendiary comments from Lt Gen William "Jerry" Boykin, the newly promoted deputy undersecretary of state of defence for intelligence. Gen Boykin has repeatedly told...

The suggestion that Bush is some kind of religious nutter is so ludicrous. And while per the article, allegedly Bush felt that God wanted him to throw his hat in the ring, not that God wanted him to win. There is a difference, perhaps too subtle for the author. This near atheist agnostic does not feel threatened by Bush's religiousity. He is a calm, and composed, and sensible, and tolerant, and cautious man. I feel quite safe.
Oh yes, Blair, another man of faith, who prayed with Bush (oh the horror), is not a religious nutter either. He too is calm and composed and focused on furthering what he in good conscience thinks is good for his nation, and for the planet as a whole. In that sense, while Blair is to the Left of Bush on some issues (I am kind of in-between the two), he and Bush are sympatico.
My suggestion to the author is to chill out, and move on to some other marketing plan for self attention and aggandizement. The dog he has chosen as his vehicle won't hunt.
What I do fear are intolerant anti-religious bigots. That is how I see it, from this direction.

Few US Presidents have been as openly religious as Bush. Recent Presidents would be a more accurate statement. Washington and Lincoln certainly were. Probably most of the early US presidents were.
