Are we surprised by this? However, a somewhat different take on the GOP challenges than provided in an article posted earlier.

The Dems are VERY concerned they will lose Louisville without their usual manipulation in black area of town.

”...effort targets polling places with large numbers of African-American voters, and consequently violates the federal Voting Rights Act of 1965.”

Maybe these voting places are being targeted because of fraud in past elections........or maybe, the GOP doesn’t want to be blamed for past intimidations etc. blamed on them. Whatever, you can be if the ACLU is involved it ain’t for “civil rights” or fairness, it is to hold the line in favor of socialism.

The use of poll watchers by the GOP is a direct attack on the Democratic pricipal of one man, one four or five votes.

So according to the ACLU, voter fraud preventation is a civil rights violation. I am sick of the ACLU making up Constitution rights out of thin air.

Bingo! However, I suspect media coverage of ACLU lawsuit has another purpose - to increase black voter turnout for "Happy" Chandler.

With Dr. Fletcher rising in the polls, the ACLU trying help "Happy" Chandler steal the election.

Whenever the Libs pull the race card you know they have nothing left. Its tantamount to admitting defeat.

The american communists and liberals union strikes again, I see. I was listening to a radio talk show and I think it was Czerwonka that was being interviewed about why all of this came about. Any way, a republican (Czerwonka?) was running for a state office (house or senate) and in one western Louisville precinct there were 15 more votes than there were registered voters in that precinct. Plus, there were many other extremely questionable happenings. Needless to say, the republican lost. I pray almost every night that the dems are defeated in every election, anywhere, anytime. Maybe then, they will stop being so socialistic and anti-american.

I am currently reading a book about the Civil War, and I think that the US is more divided now than we were then. Absolutely unbelievable what kind of division the dem leadership has brought about in the US just so they can keep power.

This is EXACTLY why the Republicans want (and will get, I believe) the monitoring and challenging at polling locations they see as possibly corrupt.

I predict we'll get a win with Ernie Fletcher! (Sorry for the delay in responding but we had a cable outage through much of Lexington this morning.)

The ACLU is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Democratic National Committee.

You know TS, I'm beginning to think that "sleeper cells" are needed within the democratic party. Maybe we should register as dems (gag) and get involved in their activities so as to expose their dirty deals. Does that sound like a plan? As I recall, the dems did that to Dubya in Texas.

Once again, the ACLU stands revealed in its naked ugliness as a vehicle for the far Left. It has always been thus, but it has managed to fool a lot of people over the past 83 years with its pretense of being about American Liberty.

The “Race Card” is the Dims weapon of choice in most situations.
