Dear Republican, Over the last few months, Laura and I have traveled the country and have been humbled by the enthusiastic support we have been given. Our country has faced many challenges in the last two and half years and we are meeting these challenges at home and abroad. We're defeating the enemies of freedom. And at the same time, we're confronting challenges to build prosperity for our nation and a more compassionate society. Every test has revealed the true character of America. And no one in the world can doubt the spirit and will and strength of the American people. We are meeting the challenges of our time but there is much more to be done and I need your support. Will you join me in these efforts by volunteering for my re-election campaign as a Bush Team Leader? http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/SignUp/ As a Bush Team Leader you will be asked to help by volunteering at local events, hosting your own events, registering new voters, turning out voters on Election Day and more. Most importantly, you will be asked to recruit more Bush Team Leaders to help us win in November 2004. Please sign up to be a part of this important effort today. http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/SignUp/ The challenges we face cannot be met with timid actions or bitter words. They will be overcome with optimism and resolve and confidence in the ideals of America. We are acting to advance human freedom and liberty and making the world and America more secure. We took action to create jobs and get the economy growing again. We acted on principle. You did not send me to this office to mark time. You sent me here to restore dignity and honor to the White House and to help build a safe and prosperous and caring nation. Will you join me in this effort by becoming a Bush Team Leader and volunteer your time? http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/SignUp/ I want to thank you for the work that you will do in the months to come. There is no question in my mind that with your help we are laying the foundation to win a great victory in November of 2004.
P.S. Again, thank you for making my campaign strong at the grassroots level all across the country. I am grateful to the over 300,000 Americans that have contributed to my campaign and the millions more who've signed up on the campaign email list. And I am grateful to everyone that chooses to volunteer in support of this effort. I need you to make certain your friends and family register to vote. I need you to make phone calls, send emails, help organize rallies, put up signs, and get out the vote. I need you to volunteer in my campaign today. |
He may be the least bad choice next November, but that does not mean he deserves reelection on his own merits.
JMO, but those who personify themselves as the only ones of the "true conservative" bent, marginalizied themselves for their nanosecond of glory, and give aid to people such as Hillary and Dean.
Oh, I am stealing that! (sort of)
Ha ha ha ha ha!!!
I can't read much further into this thread.
Please? Yeah, that'll work. The ridicule will end right there. NOT! It hasn't even begun yet and it's soooo convincing too.
Bwah ha ha ha ha ha!!!!
Be sure to say that to the liberal press (what is it as it stands now?) 30 days before a primary or 60 days before the general election.
Seriously though, there's still a year to go and that's a looooong time and a heck of a lot can/will happen in political terms.
The Patriot Act has cost him twice that many votes from my family. A net loss for Bush since all those votes went to him last election.
If he loses Ashcroft I might reconsider.
Actually, I held my nose and voted fer Dubyuh's daddy in '92 despite Bush, Sr.'s willingness to scorn the RightWing in a fruitless attempt to woo the MidlquetoastModerates...we've got a year to convince Dubyuh not to follow his daddy's footsteps.

Ok, dagnabbit, then who does deserve election.
We can then discuss your choices political viability.
Apparently from reading your endless spam, the sole criteria for conservatism is one who will legalize recreational poisons and prosecute anyone who interferes in the drug trade. Behold, the 'most conservative candidate' in MrLeroyland: the Trotskyite Greens Party!
If the libs take back the WH, thus controlling our foreign policy, we are in real trouble. A majority of Americans have no idea how much damage was done, during the 8 yrs of the Clinton Presidency.
Oh yeah, he has a chance! :-)
Well then, the GOP and Bush should remember not to ignore that. If anarchy with illegal immigration continues then I guess they've felt they were above the rule of law and they do not deserve conservative support.
During the Impeachment Debates, the argument was forwarded that if Clinton and his associates had broken the law, he should be prosecuted for those crimes. Many of us fought hard to get Dubyuh in office so that we could get an Attorney General in power who would execute the laws and prosecute the Guilty. Ashcroft's been an abysmal failure in that regard.
We've now set the precedent that Perjury, Obstruction of Justice, and Treason are unprosecutable if committed by those at the highest echelon of the Executive Branch. That cannot be spun as a good or decent thing, imho.
