Bring it on! The more, the merrier. It's not like this is going to go anywhere.

LOL.

No, the worst is that there's people out there who VOTED for Debbie Stabusall.

(From the site) "Tank is one of Fargo-Moorhead's most-eligible bachelors."

I'll bet he is. A lifelong one, I'd say.

Niether Rush nor Hannity are underwritten by any political party, which brings up the question...

If the Democrat party is behind this thing, wouldn't equal time provisions apply (if they still exist)?

Wow! If Sgt Schulz is picked up by a whole 6 stations, he may break into the real big time and actually get to move to Bismarck, where the real action is!

Seriously, what happened to Al Franken, Mario Cuomo, and the crybaby cowboy, sniveling Jimmy Hightower? Maybe they could get molly ivens sober enough to do an hour on the radio, if she could steal that much material.

And he also felt it necessary to reassure all his listeners that he is still the #1 show demographically speaking by posting the always fascinating arbitron ratings, unformatted of course.

What I love about these Arbitron numbers is that not only do they show his listenership numbers are only in the low five digits - max! - but that there is only one other talk program competing against him!

Total combined listenership for both stations, at it's peak, only reaches about 50,000 listeners.

Oh yeah, he's a mighty powerhouse to contend with.

So, is this payback for Peter Jennings? Thanks.

Oh, I don't know, I'll bet he can receive and retype McAuliffe's Talking Points Memos with as few typos as any of 'em.

Would you let this man produce a show for you? This is KFGO's Tank McNamara, producer for KFGO's "News and Views" with Ed Schultz. Tank is one of Fargo-Moorhead's most-eligible bachelors. To arrange dates, call Tank at KFGO

You no pooping on this one. That's the blurb under his picture.

(Notes from a former Fargoan:)

My God, the Dems are in sad shape if they're tapping Ed as their savior.

Schultz used to be a conservative a few years ago, and started to change when he switched stations and started hanging out with a "new crowd" at KFGO. I think he "transformed" into a liberal just to compete against his old station, conservative WDAY. Either way, he's a total jerk.

Ed is most famous for swearing on the air and trying to pick a fight with a fan as he was doing play by play for NDSU Bison football after he had a whiskey bottle thrown at him. He now calls football for the UND Fighting Sioux; he almost got canned from that job last year when he dissed the Sioux hockey (the crown jewel of North Dakota sports) coach Dean Blaise on a Minneapolis radio station.

By the way; Fargo is as red as they come for presidential elections; they rely on their Dem senators to keep the farm pork coming however.

Well, I think this is great. The more talk show hosts, the better.

For all we know, this guy might be good indeed. I've never heard him before. The sad thing is, if he's truly good, his talent has been smeared by a public campaing looking to force a "liberal" talk show host on the public. It would have been better, if Mr. Schulz would have gone national because of his own talents and abilities, just like all the other talk show hosts.

I guess this is just another side of affirmative action, sadly for Mr. Schulz it has the potential of being an embarassment.

Liberals don't listen to talk radio.

They watch television. Constantly.

Exactly. There is NOT a market void, otherwise it would have been filled. This is set up to be a colossal failure. Of course, at the time it goes the way of Donahue and ratings too low to chart the left will claim a VRWMC and get the NYT to run a front page story of some sort or another.
