God bless him!!! This is a man who knows all about being in front of a camera, and he's got the good sense to know that this is not the time, unlike our soon-to-be-out-on-the-street Doofus!!

fire is heading into LA
INDIAN OAKS At CHATSWORTH....
Live on KFI....people who stayed behind are fleeing.
To: nicmarlo
Huge sheet of orange flame leeping into the area a mile wide and 40-50 feet high and twisting into the sky -- coming over the last ridge into the Chatsworth area -- Indian Oaks, apartments, condo area -- police going through giving the residents a last shot to get out of there -- locations is north of the 118 along Topanga Canyon. Some of the firefighters back in one of the complexes have opened up the fire hydrants that feed the engines at the other end of the complex. They are calling it a firestorm condition -- still at the top of the hill but the largest fire into the sky he has seen today. Saying it looks like the Waterman Canyon fire. Last few minutes the flames have kicked up higher then they have before.
People are driving out of this area now -- more then he has seen lately. Waited until the last possible moment to leave. Indian Oaks at Chatsworth -- flames are really kicking up right now according to the on-site report. Orange flames leaping into the air and are the closest to homes that they have been all day in LA County.

Did you hear Eric Leonard say that the flames are the highest that he has seen all day and too smokey to bring in aircraft to fight the fire?

Arnold has been out visiting firefighters all day and this is the FIRST I have heard about it and it was just on KFI! Time to go back to "I hate the media".
To: Kahuna
Don't think so. It wouldn't also have Capistrano in the same sentence.

Evidently, the house is still there, a car they had to leave there is still there and in good shape. His cul-de-sac is atop a hill about 40 feet or so from ther road connecting to Pomerado Road, and the houses there were saved. Incredible!
WOW! That's good.

http://cad.chp.ca.gov/ I'll be outta here for awhile if you want to monitor this. If it doesn't default to Orange Cty., it's easy to reset it. I have it on Orange County, Most Recent.
