Not according to the many doctors....of course she may never be a satisfactorily functioning person to you and say, Hitler, but who knows what heights she can reach....it has never been tried, her hsb will not allow it.. won't even allow a simple, balled up washcloth to be tucked under her fingers, resting in her palm, to keep her fingers from curling. Nice man, huh? As in..."Gee....maybe if terri suffers enough she will give up her will to live and die without me torturing her anymore."

OMG! That is so sick! But it's pretty good.
Ping to #123.

Someone needs to email the Hospice of Florida and Felos and ask um why Terri was kept in such isolation for THREE YEARS , especially considering that she was not dying and had not received all other avenues of rehabilitation or cure. That is the foundations of Hospice. How come Felos and Michael were able to circumvent it and put Terri on medicaid, to boot? I agree. That is what made me sit up and take notice. I love Hospice and what it does. But this is the very first time I have ever seen someone who
a. Wasn't endstage
b. Stayed more than 6 months (Three years is 6 times the regular stay!)
And the medicaid thing (like HELLO! where is the umpteen dollars hubby got for Terri??) It stinks.

LOL.... Hitler comes into play.
In a case when your argument has no merit, always use the standard fall back position....you must love Hitler!
Pitiful to say the least. Come back when you can make a halfway rational argument.
(Now please excuse me, my Hermann Goering bridge club is coming over and I must cook some shnitzel)

There are many Americans who only not dying because of a feeding tube. Many of them are functional people. They have jobs, play baseball, and much more. Just because someone cannot eat a ham sandwich doesn't make them worthless. While it may be her husband's legal right to starve her it is not his moral right. I don't expect you to understand that though.

"What kind of man are you?"
A realistic one who doesn't act like I know the mind of God....it is a sin you know.
"I can't believe you could say something so cruel about a human being."
I'm sorry, but after Lion in Winters personal attacks, the gloves are off, but since he is on your side of this,I'm sure you will find your way to ignore his comments.

No! It's funny how you forget that he's her legal husband in name (and legality) only. He is engaged to a woman with whom he already has one child and has another child on the way! He obviously hasn't been a true HUSBAND to her for years. He's only looking out for himself. He plans to marry just as soon as Terri is dead. And this is the type of person you want to judge whether Terri lives or dies?
To: Gringo1
That you have so little compassion for a human being -- no matter which side you're on -- is shocking. That is what I'm addressing.
To: Gringo1
I don't know. She looks pretty normal to me...or at least she did until her parents were no longer allowed to clean her up and dress her and put her in her wheel chair and the only pictures allowed of her were the ones the HINO wanted presented to make his case for killing her. Oh, and that remark was really ugly and uncalled for.

The question is why does your morality (or anyone elses)override his legal rights? Especially if you have a bought and paid for legislature that will do what you want to circumvent the existing law.
I understand it fully, but I don't think it is right that people who are far removed from the personal relationship that a man has with his wife are all suddenly standing around with their undies in a bunch, getting laws changed, and generally acting like a bunch of omnipotent moral busy-bodies when for the last 13 years nobody gave a fat-rats patootie about her.

And she hasn't been a wife for 13 years either. But the fact still remains that he IS her legal husband. Don't let his deeds or misdeeds blind you to the FACTS of the matter.

Don't forget he won't let anyone brush her teeth, either. Oh, and the HINO wouldn't let the Priest give her communion bread, either.
To: BlessedBeGod
Only a man ( or woman ) existing in a completely miserable state without God and the compassion and love that He offers can say that. One whose heart is full of jealousy and bitterness. Aren't we told that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks?
To: Gringo1
the personal relationship that a man has with his wife Which personal relationship are you talking about? The one he allegedly has with Terri, or the other one he's gotten impregnated?
To: FreepinforTerri
I am noticing there are those who really are disturbed by seeing fragility, feebleness or frailness in others. It upsets them....so they say "Kill me if I get like that!" Or "No one would want to live like that!"
Understand, it ain't about Terri to them, it is about their own fears, biases and beliefs. It is disturbing to even know someone like Terri could exist. Better to de-humanize them.

REALLY! And he lives in a $249,000 house, drives an $80,000 dollar mercedes, is an exec (owner?) of an insurance firm and somehow has gotten medicaid.
(I would be out in front of his business PROTESTING this creep if I lived down there so FAST it would make everyone's head spin!)
Also-if you go to the hospicefoundations.com website, you discover that they accept NO patients that are not dying, in the last stages, and where ALL means of rehabilitation or cure have been exhausted. And all of this, is compounded by the fact that Felos was on the board of the hospice when terri was admitted. And I have heard that Greer, thru his sister's hsb, who is also a judge there, is assc with hospice.
Then, factor in, the fact that felos and michael can ORDER the doctors as to what to do and not do for terri when in a hospice...can, as I understand it, lock the door when in with Terri, etc.
I sure would like to know the how these two monsters were able to stick terri in that hellhole without TV, (michael demands that-terri has to live in hell donchaknow, -NO STIMULATION, no socialzation (wheelchairing down to be with others, to join sing alongs, etc)-his orders)
