In a Fox News Opinion Poll right before the war, 65% DID NOT like the war protesters. Republicans need to save these images for campaign ads rightly linking these anti-American, Anti-War protesters to the Democrat Party. Ask in the ad "Does this make you feel safer against terrorists or other enemies of America?" "I didn't think so!" VOTE REPUBLICAN! The public frowns on that big time. These protesters are a very small minority in this country, even before the war.

I've been visiting a few Left-wing sites today, and they are not happy with the way the Event came off today. One of them has linked to this thread, and are talking about how we are celebrating how bad it came off.

Some of them get it, most of them dont. Liberals dont understand that you get no points for hating America. The same America that pays for CSPAN, gave them a permit for their protests, didnt shoot them down like dogs for daring to question their government. After abruptly walking out of their own hearing yesterday, three prominent student activists arrested in an anti-war protest last spring were found guilty of violating university code by a campus committee.

Michael Smith, Rachel Odes and Snehal Shingavi, all active members of the Berkeley Stop the War Coalition, were found guilty of disturbing the peace and failing to comply with an official. Smith was also convicted for restricting and resisting a university official.

However, the three students were cleared of two other charges—trespassing and disturbing the administration.

The decisions must still be approved by Dean of Students Karen Kenney. The hearing committee, comprised of faculty, staff and students, will decide on the students' punishments Oct. 28.

This is the one where the official course description said "conservative thinkers" were discouraged from applying.
