My 22 year old daughter suffered seizures and a significant stroke as a result of of an emergency c-section. Her younger brother is a soldier in the 101st Airborne, stationed in Mosul. We are trying to get him home to see his sister. Many of you have offered kind words about my son and for that you have my grattitude. I would humbly ask for your prayers for my daughter. Her newborn son is fine, but she may not live to raise him. Please lift her up before the Lord.
Thanks

Prayers on the way
To: tbpiper
Mam, you have both of our prayers. Please keep us posted on your daughters progress. I worked in both fields (maternity and physical rehab medicine). Amazing things can be done these days, compared to way back then, and amazing things could be done back then. I will pray for a FULL recovery for your precious young daughter and this new mother!!
I know if your son knows, the worry must be horrible for him. So prayers are going out for your whole family.
From our mouths to our gracious Fathers ears.. We ask for a full complete recovery. She has her youth on her side.
I've seen miraculous things happen. Keep the faith Mom!!!
God Bless!!

I will pray, believing that God will bring this Mommy and baby through to His Glory!
Also that your younger son will be able to come home and be with his family!
God Bless you Dear one. Just believe God is there!

Thank You!!
Yesterday morning, my daughter, Kathy walked the length of the CCU hallway and back to her room. One of her doctors used the M word
.Miracle
to describe her progress after having a baby, two seizures and two strokes.
Last night, she was moved to a regular room and at this moment, she is outside for the first time in nearly a week enjoying the sunshine and fresh air. Shes scheduled to come home Thursday! Though the doctors say the issue is a long way from being resolved (what ever that means), her vision is nearly normal and she has almost normal use of her hands. Her memory is a bit scrambled, but hey, so is mine. The next big treat for her (after a good shower) is to see her little brother, the soldier, tonight when he gets in from Iraq! The biggest treat will be today when she gets to hold her beautiful new son in her own arms.
I have saved and printed all your replies to my prayer request so that Kathy can see them. I cannot express adequately my gratitude for your prayerful support. The last week has been one of the wildest roller coaster rides we have ever been on, from despair and sorrow to joy and elation. All the while, we would read your responses and be encouraged. Without fail, there would always be one that directly touched a current need.
Thank you for responding. Thank you for having hearts tender to the needs of others. Thank you listening to the Lords leading. You are awesome people who serve an awesome God.
Praise Be To God!!

She's completely recovered. There are no residual effects of the strokes and the baby is doing great as well. Thanks for asking.
