"Euthanais is against the law in Florida which is why the ghoul is being ghoulawyerly." The dictionary is pretty clear on the definition of euthanasia....let's look at it shall we Georgy boy?
euthanasia - (from the Greek eu- + thanatos - good death) - The act or practice of ending the life of an individual suffering from a terminal illness or an incurable condition, as by lethal injection or the suspension of extraordinary medical treatment.

Very poignant letter. Thanks for sharing.

When did he become a tech before he became an RN? Well, I was a little confused when he said he was an RN, because from what I had read in some article, he did not pass the nursing boards, but I guess that was incorrect.
It was said in the post or the article that he was a respiratory therapist, but not an RN. So I don't know what to believe now...

Didn't know where to post this question until we have the daily thread going. Wasn't today the day Judge Demers was to appoint a guardian for Terri? Has there been any news about that, or am I mistaken about the date?

I'm not sure about his comments on Larry King Live about his parents. He said something about having gone through the same thing. He could have meant death, feeding tube, or pulling the plug.
There maybe a transcript up at CNN to find out what he said exactly.

"Why is she a slut?" Well, I didn't say it, but since you mentioned it, and since I already had the dictionary handy....
slut - 1a. A woman considered sexually promiscuous
Now how is that NOT an accurate description, or do you consider bedding a man that you're not only not married to, but commiting adultery with and having children by, while he is trying to terminate the life of his severely disabled wife, to be chaste behavior?

I believe he did fail the exams but later went back and passed them.

From the way mine sometimes attack, I think they may be pro-death.

OK .. she didn't say a whole lot about the interview, but did mention her shock that MS would say that his girldfriend spent more time and took better care of Terry then her own mother did
That what they (MS/his lawyer) are doing is bigger then just Terry, that if they can get this law over turned then the disable people in Florida will then have to prove in court they are still alive and that is it's really sad if you think about it.
She also said the family is very grateful to all the emails, letters and phone calls everyone has sent
Oh and she also said that considering that Terry was without food for so long, Terry is bouncing back pretty good.
Dom G (talk radio guy) mentioned that Terry's uncle from the Philly area is heading down to Fl
A few people that claim to be Dems are calling in and saying how they are pro-choice but find starving a person to death disgusting and sick
OH OH .. commercial just came on .. MS brother called Michael Smerconish (the morning radio guy) and said he would go on his show tomorrow and answer any question Michael S has about the case
I haven't to make sure to get up early to list to that

Well, the only date I heard anything about so far this week is that the Felos litigation show has until Wednesday to present its case to try and overturn Terri's Law. Not sure about the appointment of guardian. It was suppose to be 5 days, but in legal terms, who knows how long that might be.

The questions wouldn't have been so bad had Catherine not had such an angry, hateful tone. At the end she tried to calm herself down and say she empathized, but it was too little too late. To disagree is one thing, but I didn't expect such anger from her towards Terri's poor brother. It was cruel. I'm really really disappointed that Crier acted that way, but can only attribute it to her being a judge. But I'm sorry to hear her take on this matter in spite of that.

Since you gave me the initial link that inspired my research of the bulimia / bone problem relationship, you may want to check out the following

Can check the transcript but I thought I heard felos say to King that he had filed in court yesterday (Monday) to overturn Terri's law

Thanks Mo. Let us know about tomorrow morning's show. More spin, no doubt, keeping in mind that this is probably the brother who backed up the HINO's claim that Terri would want to die.
Ping for update at #1892....Terri's sister on radio.

KING: Belton, Texas, hello.
CALLER: Yes. Does it bother you that the death is so slow? Maybe Dr. Kevorkian-style would be a faster, more peaceful way?
SCHIAVO: Removing somebody's feeding is very painless. It is a very easy way to die. Probably the second better way to die, being the first being an aneurysm.
And it doesn't bother me at all. I've seen it happen. I had to do it with my own parents.
FELOS: You know, Larry, I want to make something very clear about that. The law is very clear. This is not euthanasia. This is not assisted suicide. This is letting nature take its course.
