Perhaps I wasn't clear in post #1277. Here's the link
to LKL's e-mail. I suspect CNN may feel that by injecting comments from the Schindlers during the breaks may have shown the other point of view, but it's worth asking that they have equal time IMHO.
BTW, here's the auto reply I received from LKL:
....While we are unable to personally reply to every e-mail, your comments are important to us, and we do read each and every one. Comments become part of the viewer response report that is prepared and made available each day to our producers and senior management...."

Potassium deficiency symptoms
Include muscle weakness and excessive sweating
Potassium deficiency symptoms: Potassium is needed in normal growth enzyme reactions, and regulates water balance in the body. It helps the synthesis of muscle, and sends oxygen to the brain. Most potassium, which is a mineral, is in the intracellular fluid. There are several potassium deficiency symptoms.
Potassium deficiency symptoms are:
Rapid irregular heartbeat
Muscle weakness
Tingling in the fingers
Nausea
Low blood pressure
Also, if there is too much sodium in the body compared with potassium, a form of potassium deficiency which can lead to high blood pressure may develop.

Still wondering.
Hammesfahr definitely said that potassium wasn't the issue and there was NO heart attack.
Couple of q's for the MD's here. Is there a difference between heart attack and cardiac arrest? Can either condition be determined by blood tests hours/days later? Would potassium levels remain low hours after a heart attack or cardiac arrest? If low K can cause cardiac arrest, what about the converse---can cardiac arrest cause low K? If they determined at the hospital that Terri had both a cardiac arrest AND low K, how did they know which came first?

Is there a difference between heart attack and cardiac arrest?
NO
To: Mo1
I agree, Mo1! He did trip up and this just may be the break Terri and her parents have needed. Several things didn't sit well with me in the interview.
First, he said when he found her (after being what I felt was evasive about why he was getting up at 4:30 a.m.) he rolled her over before calling 911 and her brother. He then claims he cradled her in his arms. The first responders have testified that they found her in a face down position on the floor. Did he turn her over on her face then, or is he just lying? Phone records allegedly show that BEFORE he called 911, he called her father (I believe) who insisted that M. Schiavo hang up and call 911. Again, did he conveniently leave this information out or is he lying?
Another point that REALLY bothers me is his claim that Terri suffered from bulemia. Bulemia is an eating disorder in which people gorge themselves on food then use massive quantities of laxatives and/or induce vomiting with a finger or something else down the throat to purge themselves. A person who suffers from this eating disorder HAS DETECTABLE SIGNS of suffering IF they're examined properly. There is damage and/or inflammation to the colon if they are abusing laxatives. In many instances, there will be hemerrhoids. It's uncommon to find roids in a young woman who hasn't been pregnant. The enamel on their teeth will be eaten away if they have been inducing vomiting with any regularity over a period of time. Vomit is acidic and will simply TEAR UP the inside of the mouth and even the teeth. There would be MANY MORE vitamin deficiencies as a result of bulemia and NOT just a potassium deficiency. There would have been SIGNS OF BULEMIA if she truly suffered from this disorder. Further, if Michael suspected she had an eating disorder, don't you think he would have discussed that with her doctors when she was admitted in an effort to find what caused her collapse?
Another thing which I cannot understand is how the two sides of the story can be so diametrically opposed! How can a court of law overturn what the Florida legislature did when it is apparent that one side or the other is lying? It would be a further travesty of justice if the court's find in favor of her murderers without undertaking an investigation to find out who is most likely telling the truth!! As it stands, I have to consider whom has the most to gain from Terri's death. In all the obvious angles, the answer is clearly Michael Schiavo. The parents are broke and have nothing to gain except a lifetime of taking care of their daughter. Schiavo has the motive of seeing that Terri never is able to communicate again, thereby saving him from potentially incriminating testimony on the cause for her collapse. Schiavo has what little is left of her medical funds as motive. He also has the motive of no longer having evidence of abuse once she's dead and cremated.
My thoughts and prayers are with Terri and the Schindlers. This whole case stinks to high heaven and it is a black mark on the state of Florida that it has been allowed to get to this point.

Tank you for providing us with yet another classic example of projection. "tanks" yourself...Playing with people's lives as the Shiavo-Felos bunch are doing and you seem to be condoning speaks volumes about you.
As far as I am concerned you obviously have nothing substantial to add to any conversation about this horrible thing...you are just being a nuisance.
To: eleni121
If it's me that's the nuisance, then please stop posting to me and giving me reasons to respond.

To: Graymatter

Well actually a cardiac arrest usually occurs as a result of a heart attack.
To: sweetliberty
Bobby Schindler cited the statute of limitations, but last night Mr Schindler Sr said they had refused to investigate. I am glad an investigation is underway now. I don't see how MS/Felos can get the tube removed with the ongoing investigation into abuses over the last 10 yrs. The investigating agency gets to see all the medical records and all pertinent information. I pray they see what is so obvious to the rest of us & MS is removed as guardian.
