One of the Freepers favorite congressmen has just returned from Iraq. He is doing tours, holding press conferences, etc. to get the word out about the successes and the truth about Iraq.

Your Freeper-loving congressman has requested Freeper help. He wants quotes by Democrat presidential candidates, and other Democrats, accusing President Bush of lying, mismanagement, etc. You get the picture.

Your Freeper-loving congressman wants documented dates, times, publications, film will be better yet. If anyone watches Al Jazeera TV and can find actual footage of the Democrat's quotes on Al Jazeera, it will be priceless. His staff is also working on this.

These quotes are something the media has ignored completely. I think they would look great in an ad that asks what made them come to these conclusions...and why have they so drastically changed, not only their minds, but have accused Bush of lying. Were they lying, as well?

Weasel Clark: Ignoramus

Weasel Clark explains (yet again) why he flip-flopped repeatedly on the Congressional Iraq war resolution:
"Because I wasn't following the resolution and I didn't even know what was in the resolution," said Clark. "My message is that I am not a political consultant, period."

Clark added: "Had I been in Congress I would not have voted for it because I would have recognized that the administration was going to use it as an authorization to go to war."

So, to recapitulate: Clark says he didn't know what was in the resolution because he wasn't paying close attention. But had he been in Congress, he would have been aware of the details, and, having known them, his preference for patient internationalism, plus his suspicion of the administration's motives, would have led him to oppose the resolution.

Plausible? Perhaps. And yet, it's an explanation that stops somewhat short of inspiring confidence in the foreign-policy expertise of the Democrats' newest presidential candidate.
Bottom line: Clark's defense is that he knows less about foreign policy than you and me! He didn't realize that "the administration was going to use it [the resolution] as an authorization to go to war."
