But the next miracle that they're praying for is that their story here in El Paso will some how reach Terri Schiavo's husband in Florida and convince him that there's still hope for his wife. Apparently they, innocently, don't understand what bad news this would be to a man who is already living with and making babies with another woman while hoarding the settlement money that was to have paid for Terri's care.
The last thing this husband wants is for Terri to recover -- which is the essence of the problem.

"a doctor said not even a miracle can save her"
Hmmmm sounds like a challenge to me, it will be interesting to see what "the Almighty's" response will be to this "doctor".-Keep Praying for Terri. ( I pray the prayers on the threads for Terri, but, as of yesterday, I am also specifically Praying- asking God, if it be His will, that Terri's ability to speak be fully restored at this moment.)
Anyway Bumpity-BUMP

From an affidavit a nurse filed about Terri:
Carla Sauer Iyer was a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the same convalescent center in the mid 1990s, and also cared for Terri. She described Mr. Schiavo as being "focused" on Terri's death.
"Michael [Schiavo] would say, 'When is she going to die? Has she died yet?' and 'When is that bitch going to die?'" Iyer charged. "Other statements which I recall him making include, 'Can't anything be done to accelerate her death, won't she ever die?' When she wouldn't die, Michael [Schiavo] would be furious."
Conversely, Iyer said that when she would have to call Schiavo to inform him of a downturn in Terri's condition, Schiavo would be elated.
"Michael would be visibly excited, thrilled even, hoping that she would die," Iyer recalled. "He would blurt out, 'I'm going to be rich,' and would talk about all the things he would buy when Terri died, which included a new car, a new boat and going to Europe, among other things."

Her family says if Velma can recover from a vegetative state, so can Terri Schiavo. Here's another one.
For 16 years, life for Patti White Bull had been very much the same not much of a life at all, her body locked in a coma-like state, fed by a tube. But on Christmas Day 1999, she was miraculously awake, writing a letter to her mother, dressing herself and walking with support. Absolutely extraordinary, is how one medical expert described the 42-year-old New Mexico womans sudden awakening after more than a decade and a half.

Even if a thousand such stories as this reach the monster, he will still insist Terri be murdered by starvation. She needs a guard in the room to prevent him from slipping her insulin or any other drugs to kill her.

Well, this is a nice line from a nice person, but it is the definition of an "incurable optimist." Michael Schiavo has learned his Shakespeare, "Schiavo . . . does murder sleep?"
