Back in 2002, Bush publicly chastised a former president of the Southern Baptist Convention, Rev. Jerry Vines, for his truthful remarks regarding Islam. Vines said, "Islam is not just as good as Christianity." He also rightly said, "Allah is not Jehovah." These remarks brought a swift and stern rebuke from the White House.

I believe this is a bit misleading. If I recall correctly, Dr. Vine said that Muhammed was a "demon-possessed pedophile." That may have garnered criticism from the White House.

Now I have no problem speculating that Muhammed might have been demon-possessed. If the biographical facts are accurate regarding pedophilia, I have no problem saying that either. Maybe someone else here knows more about his life than I.
