DaimlerChrysler reported a sharper-than-expected drop in profits on October 21, 2003, with problems at its ailing U.S. unit threatening its earnings outlook and leading to a downgrade of the German automaker's credit rating. The world's fifth-biggest carmaker, battling to return its Chrysler unit to long-term profits, posted a third quarter operating profit of $1.46 billion, a 19 percent drop from a year ago and below analysts' expectations. It is launching 25 new vehicles in the next 36 months. The Dodge Durango Hemi RT concept SUV is seen January 5 at the Detroit Auto Show. TexKat, those cars are real beauties and look like loads of fun. This is my ride, now...

I can't tell you how much fun it is to drive. It's only the 2.5 liter, but that makes it much easier to stay out of trouble. ;o)

RR, I can't tell you how sorry I am that you didn't get your mom's car. But, do you realize what the insurance premiums would have been on a teenager driving that car? Whoa!!!

That is one awesome piece of machinery! It's such a beauty!

Here's hoping you get one very soon!

How do you like it? I had the Z-3, and it was a great car. I liked the body style better than that of the 4, so I just couldn't stick with BMW and I bought an Audi TT Roadster. Curious how you like it.

How the hell are you supposed to have sex in the backseat of this thing?

Dude, have you seen your car? How isn't the question. When? and the answer - maybe after you trade your car...

Muttly like..but refuses to ride in a car named Killed In Action.

REALLY like absurdly top-heavy SE-RO...reminds me of my old pal KLATU...boy, you should have seen him act up when he got a pint of Marvel Mystery Oil in him ! Look out !

Anyway, Muttly ask his Master to get him pretty Cadillac...should he ever be allowed out of the backyard again. Muttly used to drive one around the back-lot of The Studio, and smoke a bubblegum cigar...which seemed to go well with the beret and monicle.

I absolutely love it. They didn't just change the body style. It's now on a modified 325 chassis, so it's roomier.

I have to admit I wasn't crazy about the style to begin with, but I have 3 little ones that ride with me (no, two aren't in the trunk...they ride one at the time..lol). Being able to turn off the passenger side air-bag is a real plus.

However, the style has really grown on me, and I'm now crazy about it. It handles a lot better than the 3. Plus, I've been driving beemers for the past 18 years. I may be in a rut, but it's a rut I enjoy. ;o)

That's a real beauty that you have. Is it silver? How do you like it?
I didn't get a suede steering wheel...;o(
