UPDATE FROM TERRI'S VIGIL SITE ON LOCATION... by floriduh voter and drk4the1: TERRI IS NOT BEING RE-HYDRATED AT MORTON PLANT HOSPITAL IN CLEARWATER, FL. The Governor's Office is under the impression and reporting that the procedure started at 7:07 pm. While it's being reported to the family attorney that she is not going to receive anything. A telephonic hearing is scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm est with Judge Douglas Baird re: Michael Schiavo's suit against Gov. Bush and his executive order of today. Additionally, Michael S. is disputing his removal as Terri's legal guardian. Anything helpful appreciated. Contact floriduh voter or the drk screen name. We are outside fighting the mosquitoes. H E L P !!!!!

Who would go to a hospital that willingly agreed to kill someone by dehydration? If the hospital had fought tooth and nail to keep from doing that it would be different. But I would never trust these doctors.

I *know* it says comatose, but, on the other hand, it also says that people who care about someon they will never meet, who lives far away, and is in need, can be helped. She is alive, and she is cared for, because enough people cared about her to make a difference. It is a miracle and I am awed by its occurrence.

Funny, all the medical experts in this field have seen the same videos, examined her and concluded that she is in a permanent vegetive state with no hope of recovery.

Funny, that only the medical "experts" provided by Schiavo/Felos were recognized. The medical reports provided by Pat Anderson were not.

FV is floriduh voter. She and other Freepers have been holding a vigil for Terri at the Hospice these last days. They've been helping Terri's advocates - lawyers, family members - offering support, activism.

It's good to make sure. I want to see film from Terri's bedside with her mother and father by her side, or a nurse reading from today's newspaper as another nurse puts her right hand on the Bible and assures us they are feeding Terri as fast as is medically safe.

Actually, Jorge hasn't engaged in any name-calling on this thread, though he's certainly been the target of some (go to his profile page and click "In Forum" to see all his posts right next to each other). Nobody is being forced to respond to him, and those who can't do so civilly should be held responsible for their own behavior.

Your post made me think of the definition of homicide.

Which also makes me think of the difference between killing and murder.

Would I be correct in saying that murder is the act of causing someone's death with criminal motive, and attempted murder is that act of trying to cause someone's death with criminal motive?

If there are any improprieties found in the management of Terri's trust fund whose discovery could only be avoided by Terri's dying before another guardian or guardian ad litem could be appointed, would that constitute criminal motive on the part of Schiavo, Felos, and Greer? If so, would that be grounds for [hopefully just attempted] murder charges against those people?

Simple. It is a miracle. We cared for this poor defensless soul. Her family was just as defenseless. They were not able to be helped because they were in denial, they were not able to be helped because they were kept spinning in a small circle by an adulterous muderous husband, a morally bankrupt attorney (I see a disbarment in his future), and a "I'm God" executioner judge who defies description.
