UPDATE FROM TERRI'S VIGIL SITE ON LOCATION... by floriduh voter and drk4the1: TERRI IS NOT BEING RE-HYDRATED AT MORTON PLANT HOSPITAL IN CLEARWATER, FL. The Governor's Office is under the impression and reporting that the procedure started at 7:07 pm. While it's being reported to the family attorney that she is not going to receive anything. A telephonic hearing is scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm est with Judge Douglas Baird re: Michael Schiavo's suit against Gov. Bush and his executive order of today. Additionally, Michael S. is disputing his removal as Terri's legal guardian. Anything helpful appreciated. Contact floriduh voter or the drk screen name. We are outside fighting the mosquitoes. H E L P !!!!!

If this poor woman lives, I think it will be, for a large part, thanks to the people on this forum, and the internet. All of you, and the internet, contacted the conservative radio talk-show hosts. You alerted the politians who could help this woman and put pressure on all of those involved to DO SOMETHING or face the wraith of the People. I have noticed, for about the last year or two, that the internet allows us to BYPASS the lying main stream media and go DIRECTLY to the People! THIS IS A NEW FREEDOM for us! We are no longer hampered by what the media CHOOSES to report. WE NO LONGER NEED THEM.

I have an idea - if this is true, and they are re-hydrating Terri, and the MINO-HINO is not her "guardian" now and so can't control her environment, how about as many people as possible send her flowers - gifts, religious symbols that will be appropriate for her, etc? I would love to send her flowers. Just imagine if her room becomes a garden! (If someone who is in FL or knows more than me (which is everyone) I would like the address of the hospital, or whatever info is needed to send something.

(Someday Terri - like everyone - will have to leave the mortal coil, but her harrowing ordeal will be a wakeup call to many. That we must serve the God of Life, and not try to usurp His position, as the demons are, nor should we sit idly by trying to have a comfortable life in our living rooms, while the demons are trying to turn the world into their own personal hell.)

Lord hear our prayers. They are so committed to killing this woman it is simply unbelieveable.

The fact is if this woman had a written living will, saying she didn't want to be kept alive by artificial means in a permanent vegetative state, the hospital would be forced to abide by it.

Not using artificial means to extend a person's suffering is not "killing" them in all cases.

It is a common practice for terminally ill cancer patients to be giving increasingly powerful doses of morphine to spare them the suffering of the final stages of their disease.
The morphine in fact usually puts them out of their misery.

Should we withhold the morphine and let them suffer in increasing agony for a another month or so and call this "God's will?"

Nobody here knows what Terri wants, or whether God wants a person in a permanent vegetative state kept alive by a machine for decades or not.

Can anyone help me out here? This sounds familiar as the name of the hospital that refused Terri proper care when she had the first UTI. And, I'm thinking I remember some rumor that this was where MS was formerly employed.

Was it the hospital that refused proper care? Or was it Michael Shiavo who prevented them and would not consent for her to get care?

I would appreciate it very much if someone would take time post a single coherent post updating what happened today. I spent the day thinking the Senate wouldn't even discuss this till tonight, and I am overwhelmed to find out that it's over and she's on IVs. I'm having to take valium for an inner-ear problem and it's making me extremely flaky. Please? Thanks.

I thought of this also from what her brother said about her condition...I knew it would be some time before they could reintroduce the feeding tube and I was told they probably kept her hydrated in some other fashion for the past 6 days. I just pray this is some mixup at the vigil, but how could it be?
