This is good, I definitely will e-mail the ones who voted yes. Some of them really did seem sincere.

I just want to say you guys rock! I love to see when FReepers take action and get things done! Just goes to prove - "United we stand - divided we fall"
Big HUGS to all Freepers from me too!
We just have to keep on calling/E-Mailing so they don't let things fall through the cracks. Also, the Schindlers should send someone in to guard Terri - just in case! I don't trust Michael Schiavo and his cohorts.

He probably would have put the issue on the agenda for the special session if that were the case and removed one of the primary arguments against the bill: that they hadn't had time to study it.No. That's not the way politics works. If he had done that, there might not have been the attendance there was tonight -- only 1 empty seat. And no time for the naysayers to do their PR and PC acts.

After the Senate passes the identical bill and after Jeb signs it... no sooner than mid-day tomorrow. Crap. If she dies waiting, I'll be furious! And I'm not the emotional type.

Pray that someone is somehow giving her water.

Several opposed scored points (somewhat) by noting that this issue was not important enough to be included on the special session notice by the Governor OR be debated first thing that morning.
I find it hard to believe many still vest the Executive Branch with some sense of urgency on this issue.

You know, I really want folks here to know how important pc93, and I think floriduh voter were in finding info that the family didn't even have. I think it was them. The info on the collusion between the husband's attorney, and the supposedly non-biased doctor, I think it was? And all the folks who found the hospice info collusions....which hopefully won't bite us in the butt tomorrow, with King....
But, that collusion info was amazing fact work. I know the family activists needed that, and pegita passed it onto one of the reps in house today....

Is it time to drop the DUH off the word Floriduh????? or should we wait to see what the senate will do and if it's done in time to save Terri's life?????
To: Cicero
If it passes, they can start feeding her glucose intravenously to get the fastest results. Hopefully they will do that, because it looks as if this particular nursing home has been rather too willing to cooperate with her husband. From what I understand it's a hospice, which could explain your observation.
