No. That's not the way politics works. If he had done that, there might not have been the attendance there was tonight -- only 1 empty seat. And no time for the naysayers to do their PR and PC acts.

A session devoted to drawing a "non-profit" biotech industry leader like Squibb to Florida? It was the perfect link-up.

Anyone who paid attention to the way Jeb's brother DOUBLED the budget of the NIH knows well that it's critical to land a big spoon for the gravy train.

Only thing designed to draw more porkers would be some scheme to set aside land for federal oversight until such time as Manatees evolve their sea legs.
